Reason #11 not to vote for Sarah Palin for President-Update

JOE MILLER!

Joe has since lost the election, yet he refuses to concede  He has filed an appeal with the State Supreme Court

During the election at a campaign event, he had a journalist handcuffed When Joe worked as an attorney for the Fairbanks North Star Borough, he admitted using the computers there for political purposes, resulting in a suspension

Joe thinks unemployment insurance is unconstitutional yet his wife collected it

Joe got an indigent hunting and fishing license yet he may not have been an AK resident at the time and he owned a home

He thinks the federal minimum wage should be abolished, yet the Supreme Court said it was constitutional back in the 1930's

He wants to abolish the 17th amendment, which gives the voters the right to elect Senators, and not the state legislature. My feeling is that the AK state legislators all owe Joe a favor. The reason the amendment is in place is because of William Clark, who bribed Montana state lawmakers into electing him a Senator back in 1899.

A Federal Judge threw out Miller's lawsuit, awarding Murkowski the victory

This man is a nutcase, and $arah endorsed him.  She shows poor judgement and supports guys like this.  Lisa Murkowski was right, this man wants to repeal the past century.

Sarah Palin's AK loses viewers again!

SPA is falling down faster than a drunk Willow and Bristol at a frat party

Last week’s Bears/Vikings Monday Night Football contest easily led cable viewing for the week with 17.1 million viewers.  The Christmas night Cowboys-Cardinals game was a distant second with 7.8 million.  Toy Story 2 was third for the week with over 6 million viewers on Sunday night and last Monday’s The Closer was fourth for the week with 5.4 million.
Well outside the top 25, Sarah Palin’s Alaska averaged 2.49 million viewers, down from the previous week’s 2.56 million.   Leroy Jethro Gibbs for president with SpongeBob as his running mate (or perhaps the other way around)?
All numbers below are live plus same day DVR viewing up to 3am after the initial telecast.

Reason #19 not to vote for Sarah Palin for president

DAIRYGATE!

I need to thank alert reader Lee Indiana for pointing me to what is now, unfortunately, being called “Dairygate” in some circles and setting me off on a morning’s expedition with The Google. Even if you are already aware of the strange goings on between the Alaska state government and the long, winding tale of the Matanuska Maid dairy in Anchorage, (later referred to as “Mat Maid”) here is what I’ve found, laid out in a timeline with background information on all of the players.
In December of 2006, the historic Matanuska Maid dairy closes its doors after years of financial troubles. Operating since the 1930’s, it was taken over by the state to keep it solvent during the 80’s but remained a money sink for most of its operating life.
Spring of 2007. The government has moved again to use state funds to keep the struggling dairy afloat. More financial woes ensue, and in June of 2007 Sarah Palin swoops in to the rescue, declaring that the dairy situation is “a mess” and the she is “going to clean it up.”
August, 2007. The previously discussed Franci Havemeister is appointed to the position of Director of Agriculture at a salary of roughly $100K, considerably more than she made in her real estate business. (Remember the real estate connection for later.) Her appointment comes despite her previously noted “thin” credentials for the position. She is the daughter-in-law of local dairy farmer Bob Havemeister. (We’ll be getting back to Bob in a bit… keep reading.)
Nov. 19, 2007. Franci Havemeister issues a gag order, saying that nobody other than fellow political appointee Ray Nix, of the Dept. of Agriculture, is allowed to speak to the press about the situation with Mat Maid.
Dec. 20, 2007. Troubles continue at the dairy, and four local dairy farmers, including Bob Havemeister, are worried that they will have to begin dumping their milk on the ground, spurring concerns from environmentalists. An offer comes in from Kyle Beus (remember that name for later also. we’ll be getting back to him) to purchase some of the milk for a dairy coop he’s starting up to produce cheese and other creamery goods.
Dec. 24, 2007. Good news comes just in time for Christmas for the four previously mentioned dairy farmers. A $600,000 grant has been made available by the state government to cover costs related to Mat Maid and the farmers will be able to tap into that for cash payments of $40,000 each to “cover their losses.” State Senate President Lyda Green (R-Wasilla) initially objects to the cash payouts, saying the money was appropriated to cover the state’s debt, but later relents, saying, it was an appropriate use of the funds.
March 21, 2008. Reports surface that Kyle Beus (remember him?) has landed himself a sweetheart of a deal, gutting and leasing dairy equipment from the now effectively defunct Mat Maid facility for his new creamery coop. Both Beus and Ray Nix (see above) brush off the reports, saying that the discount prices are “nothing unusual” in these types of situations.
May 15, 2008. State auditors say that the government went against the law in handing out the $40K payments to the farmers, including Franci Havemeister’s father-in-law. State senate president Lyda Green (R-Wasilla) reiterates her feelings that the payments were made “with good intentions” and that she “didn’t view it quite as harshly” as the auditors.
May 31, 2008. Kyle Beus has a ribbon cutting ceremony, opening his new creamery. Reporters find him looking “deceptively at ease for a guy who is currently propping up the state’s dairy business.” And he probably should look that way. In addition to the discount equipment rentals, he’s recently received a $643,000 grant from the Alaska Dept. of Agriculture under the direction of… Franci Havemeister.
Kyle Beus turns out to be an exceptionally fortunate fellow in the dairy game. His background bio indicates that he moved to Alaska in 2000, and since then received $116,967 in dairy related government subsidy payments from the Dept. of Agriculture between 2002 and 2005. This is a very fortunate situation for somebody who has been under investigation by the state’s labor board for years over charges that he failed to provide workman’s compensation insurance to his employees, among other “oversights.”
Aug. 23, 2008. The former Mat Maid plant is unloaded off the state books. The state’s only other dairy interest looks into purchasing it, but somehow can’t get a bid qualified. The only qualified bid received comes from Franci Havemeister’s real estate colleague, Matt Bobbich, and the facility is sold for the minimum bid acceptable by the state, $1.5M. It’s termed a “break even” deal for Alaska.
Interesting enough, Matt Bobbich previously had delinquent tax charges against him dismissed when the plaintiff failed to appear at the appeal hearing. He was also a popular political donor on the local scene.
What does all of this add up to? We’ll have to leave it to sharper legal beagles than yours truly to sort it all out, but there certainly does seem to be a lot of money changing hands between a small group of related individuals. I’m not sure if we’ve struck fire yet, but there’s certainly plenty of smoke. Stay tuned for more of my baseless smears against Sarah Palin and her family as the campaign rolls on.

Bristol buys a house in AZ

Bristol is getting out of AK

Bristol Palin bought a five-bedroom home in Maricopa town in Pinal County, just south of Phoenix.

Palin, the 20-year-old "Dancing With the Stars" finalist and daughter of ex-Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, appeared to be the sole buyer of the $172,000 residence in paperwork cited by The Associated Press.

She closed the deal in early December, purchasing it from Michael and Cynthia Smith, a North Dakota couple.

"I'm not sure why she wanted to buy that home, but we are real happy for her," Smith told the Arizona Republic.

The 3,900-square-foot, two-level brown stucco house has a tile roof, a landscaped front yard and backyard, and a three-car garage. It is located near a community swimming pool.

The house was built in 2006 in a Cobblestone Farms development. At the time it was bought for a bit under $330,000, according to the Republic.

She will fit right in down there.  AZ is home to John McCain, Jan Brewer, Sheriff Joe Arpaio (they will be living in the same town), and Rev. Steve Anderson

Reason #17 not to vote for $arah Palin for President

She is just plain dumb and ignorant

Politico says that in a speech Friday night in Wisconsin, former Gov.Sarah Palin took issue with the design of the new dollar coin, suggesting that President Barack Obama may be pulling a fast one.
In addition to the suggestion that government officials would consider hastening the death of the infirm or handicapped, she began her remarks with a puzzling commentary on the design of newly minted dollar coins.
Noting that there had been a lot of “change” of late, Palin recalled a recent conversation with a friend about how the phrase “In God We Trust” had been moved to the edge of the new coins.
“Who calls a shot like that?” she demanded. “Who makes a decision like that?”
She added: “It’s a disturbing trend.”
Unsaid but implied was that the new Democratic White House was behind such a move to secularize the nation’s currency.
But the new coins – concerns over which apparently stemmed from an email chain letter widely circulated among conservatives – were commissioned by the Republican-led Congress in 2005 and approved by President Bush."
For more, read Jonathan Martin's story on Politico, http://www.politico.com/news/stories/1109/29267.html
I spent some time this afternoon sorting out the answer to Palin's question: "Who makes a decision like that?"
There is no mystery about it.
On Dec. 22, 2005, the "Presidential $1 Coin Act of 2005" was signed by President Bush. The law stipulated that the words  "E Pluribus Unum" and "In God We Trust" "shall be edge-incused into the coin."
The sponsor of the bill, Delaware Republican Rep. Mike Castle, spoke on the House floor about the virtute of putting "In God We Trust" on the side of the coin.
"This bill is unique. It has on the side edge incusing, which means on the side of the coin you are going to have what we have above you, Mr. Speaker: 'In God We Trust' and 'E Pluribus Unum' will be on there. It will be gold in color, and it will represent the various Presidents who served our country. It is going to be tremendously educational."
In an "Ask the White House" Q&A on Aug. 1, 2006, the U.S. Treasurer in the Bush administration responded to a question by saying, "it may interest you to know that the U.S. Mint is currently working on designs for new dollar coins on which the motto and year of the coin will be displayed on the side edges as opposed to the face of the coin."
Almost exactly two years after agreeing to put the words on the side of the dollar coin, Congress reversed itself. A lot of critics interpreted the decision to put the words on the side as a way of downplaying the message.
On Dec. 18, 2007, Sen. Sam Brownback, a Kansas Republican, spoke on the floor of the U.S. Senate about the motto, but did not say that it was the Congress that decided to put the motto on the side of the coin.
"In 1955, the phrase was required for all new coins, and in 1956 Congress officially endorsed ``In God We Trust'' as the national motto. Therefore, I was troubled to learn that the words ``In God We Trust'' do not appear on the face of the new Presidential coins. These words are barely visible and almost hidden on the edge of the new coins. To rectify this situation, we have included language in this bill that will require the U.S. Mint to return our national motto to the front of the coin," Brownback said.

Reason #18 not to vote for Sarah Palin for President

Her extreme religious associations

Her women of Joy speech

She attacks President Obama for him having Jeremiah Wright for a pastor yet she was in the audience when Thomas Muthee made this speech. Thomas Muthee is a witch doctor.

Reason #16 not to vote for Sarah Palin for president

Not only did she quit on her constinuents, she neglected them too,

Four days ago, a cry for help went out from rural Alaska via the Bristol Bay Times. Many of us have known that residents of Alaska's rural villages are having a hard winter. The weather has been unusually cold this year, and prices of heating oil and gasoline have been astronomical. Add to that a disastrous collapsing salmon fishery in Bristol Bay that left residents in that area heading in to winter with less than usual, and you have the makings for a humanitarian crisis.
So in desperation, Nicholas Tucker, from the Village of Emmonak (eh-MON-eck) sent out a cry for help. With 21 days left in the month, Mr. Tucker had only $440 left to feed and keep his family of nine warm, with heating oil at $7.83/gallon. As Emmonak runs out of fuel, it will have to be flown in, potentially raising the price to $9/gallon or more. While contemplating his own plight, he wondered how many other families of the 800 living in his village were having similar hard times. So he sent out a message on his VHF radio, asking his neighbors how they were doing. Twenty five answers came. Here are a few:

G. & K. F.: Young couple with family of five. Wife is unable to sleep and stressed out not knowing when they will be able get their next heating fuel. A 100-lb. bottle of propane gas that usually lasts four months is now lasting only two months because they use it to heat water. This costs them $200 every two weeks. They do not have hot water heater. Wife has very little income and uses $375, the one-half of her gross income every two weeks, to get heating fuel. She has no food for her family sometimes, because, she has to split the rest of what little is left for water/sewer and electricity. Gasoline for her 4-wheeler is very expensive. Her parents help her with food and firewood. They cannot afford a snowmachine or a boat to get logs. Heating fuel and propane is taking her food money away. Her added worry is that the village native corporation is running out of heating fuel and is being airlifted in. New cost is expected to be near $9 - $11 per gallon or higher.
P. R: Single, separated, with five children. (He chokes occasionally, holding back crying.) He and his children are staying in the same household with his brother's family. Cost of fuel is so high and everything else and we're able to get just a few things at a time. We have no other subsistence food left. Only thing we're surviving on moose meat alone and it is almost gone. Everything is so high - only able to get little bit. We can't catch up on our bills. We're really hurting even we are given some from other people. Right now, we can't eat during the day, only at supper time. And, it is still not enough. If there had been no school lunch, our kids would be starving. It is going to get worse in two weeks when our new heating fuel supply is airlifted in. Price of fuel will go way up again. I am lucky that the Women's Shelter is able to give me some coffee.
A. & L. M.. Middle-aged couple, family of eight. Family is buying heating fuel over food all this winter. They have no choice. Wife has a part time job. Husband's health, including a bad back, is preventing work - had lost his last job due to health.
T. U., boyfriend and children: Having hard time getting food and pampers and is on-call work. Getting food from elderly parents. Buying heating fuel over food. No food once in a while and having to cook whatever is on hand like rice. Sometimes, having to cook only moose for a whole week because there is nothing else to eat. There are days when there is nothing for breakfast and lunch and have to eat only one dinner meal a day.

Hearing these stories from his friends and neighbors, Nick Turner sent a letter to the Bristol Bay Times; a message in a bottle, asking for someone to help.
It is easy when we sit hundreds or thousands of miles away, to feel detached from the troubles of a small Alaskan village. If we were able to imagine ourselves living in such an isolated rural setting with these challenges, and were to imagine that we had five children whom we loved, and whose care rested upon us, what would we do? And if we were able to feel the desperation of these parents when the choice came to decide whether to keep their children warm or keep them fed, knowing that they couldn't do both, and that there was no end in sight, what would we do? In his letter, Nick Turner says:

I am reaching out for these families. Help is needed and cannot be delayed. I cannot imagine so many in this village are in hunger, without fuel, and other essentials and uncertain about their future. What is mind boggling about the whole situation is that they have remained silent, anonymous, suffered, and cried. The four villages in this region are in close proximity to each other and the demography is the same. Is this going on in your village?
This is not the time for any debates or questions. The winter-long anomaly in the weather, conditions, and the situation are beyond our control.
There are approximately 200 households of the 847 residents here. In just a day and half, I was able to reach only 25 households. Are as many as 175 more remaining silent? In appearance, the heads of these 25 households look normal. I am devastated from the revelation of these few houses contacted. Additionally, how many of those who are able to work are without jobs? Easily, staggering 400 plus! Some other households are still calling, but I have few hours to print this report for my testimony during today's fuel summit.
Though it may sound absurd, a massive airlift of food in the months of January, February, March and April will help our people. Any peoples, churches, organizations, associations, and government agencies ought to sent money to our native corporations to offset both the current fuel prices and the airlift presently underway. For over thirty years, we have witnessed in our region that our native corporations are just like people. They have limited income and their expenses have always been high. Why? Our Wade Hampton district has always been the most economically depressed than that of both our nation and state. We are in the most remote area of our state.

So, what is the state of Alaska doing to help its citizens as they face these conditions of scarcity that are beyond what many of us can imagine? The answer is, nothing. According to Mr. Tucker the lack of heating oil and food and the resulting threat to life did not count as an emergency to the State of Alaska.
A question. Where is our Governor? What are her priorities? I have heard her concerns about anonymous bloggers, about media coverage, about the legislature, and the gas line. I have seen a press release come out saying "There you go again" to the Anchorage Daily News. I haves seen lots of time and energy focused on how Sarah Palin feels mistreated by the media. But I have not heard one, single, solitary word about Emmonak. I have seen no press releases about what my state's government is doing to help its people in harm's way who are cold and hungry. I have heard big talk about a Rural Subcabinet headed up by our Attorney General, Talis Colberg, and I've heard that they're busy evaluating.

Colberg stated that so far the subcabinet has been in preliminary meetings to look at programs that are already in place and discussing how to gather information, what topics should be focused on, how the group will be structured and what support they could rely on. The group has no fixed meeting time and the date of their next meeting is unknown.

So, if our governor can't seem to get her eyes off the mirror, and her head out of 2012, and if the State of Alaska doesn't consider this an "emergency", then what is to be done?
The answer lies, where many answers lie, with us.

Reason #15 not to vote for Sarah Palin for President

She won't pay her property taxes

The cabin on Safari Lake, owned by Sarah and Todd Palin with Scott Richter, has been appraised by the Mat-Su Borough at $99,700.

When Mudflats first reported that the Palins had not paid property taxes on the cabin, Sarah Palin's lawyer, Mr Thomas Van Flein, said it is not the owners responsibility to notify the authorities of any changes to the property. The Palins built the very large cabin sometime after 2005, didn't notify the Mat-Su Borough and paid taxes on the land only for a number of years, with buildings appraised at zero value.

So it is Bristol that is knocked up and not Willow?

I guess it doesn't really matter, the Palin girls (minus Piper, but eventually she will be) are just a bunch of skanky whores

While most people’s New Year’s resolutions usually include shedding a few pounds or quitting smoking, Bristol Palin reportedly has an entirely different plan for 2011–you think she’d feel burned but she apparently wants another baby with her new boyfriend, asap!
Is Bristol Palin the Lindsay Lohan of young pregnancy? ie she just doesn’t learn from her mistakes. It seems that the DWTS finalist Bristol Palin, 20, sure has been busy. Since making it to the reality show’s finale on Nov 23rd,  she’s been dating 20-year-old Alaska pipeline worker Giancinto “Gino” Paoletti , reports the National Enquirer.

What’s even more surprising than Sarah Palin’s daughter having a new love interest , is that the extremely vocal abstinence spokesperson, has recently changed her rhetoric when it comes to premarital sex. “Pause before you play,” Bristol now says in a teen-pregnancy advertisement that first aired in April.
“It could be pause and go get a condom or it could be pause and think about your life or it could even be pause and wait until marriage,” Bristol, the mom of 2 year-old son Tripp explained further to Good Morning America, last April 7th. Hmm, wonder how abstinence advocate Sarah, feels about that?
Although Bristol famously got pregnant by then-boyfriend Levi Johnston when she was just 16, that apparently hasn’t soured her on having another baby soon, according to the Enquirer’s source. “Bristol is dead serious about having another baby–and she hopes it will happen within the year,” says the source. “She wants to be married before giving birth again, and she is convinced Gino is the guy for her.”
Apparently, Mama Grizzly Sarah Palin is not happy about her oldest daughter’s new boyfriend–or the fact that she is hoping to have another baby so soon.  And for once, us Hollywoodlifers are totally on board with Sarah. Maybe the stress of being a single mom is just more than Bristol can handle – remember how she rushed into a second engagement to Levi, before he ran off to Hollywood. In any case, “Bristol doesn’t care,” about Sarah’s objections,  the source continues. “If defying her mom gets her what she wants, she’s happy to do it.”

Like Bristol, Gino grew up in Wasilla, Alaska. He now splits his time between Alaska and Arizona. When he’s not doing pipeline work, he dabbles in real estate. He helped Bristol sell her condo in Anchorage, and now he is helping her find a home near his in Arizona. They’ve known each other for years–and tongues are wagging that this is not the first time the two have reportedly hooked up. Last year, while Gino was dating another girl, he and Bristol reportedly had a fling, although he ended up getting back together with his girlfriend. While she was in New York for Thanksgiving, Bristol invited Gino to visit her. Gino told his then-girlfriend he was going to visit family, but when he got back to Alaska, he dumped his girlfriend and has been with Bristol ever since.
It seems that Bristol is not above the usual insecurities that come along with dating. When Gino recently went out of town, Bristol wrote on his Facebook page, “Don’t cheat!”

Reason #14 not to vore for Sarah Palin for President

SHE QUIT ON THE ALASKAN PEOPLE!

Reason #6 not to vote for Sarah Palin for President-Update see #72

HER APPALLING HYPOCRISY!

Only 71 here, but I will add on more as soon as $arah commits more of them.

For roughly 7 months I have been writing daily about the outrageous behavior of Sarah Palin.  In the multiple articles written, I have worked hard to document everything I have covered in each post.  Since we were introduced to Sarah Palin in the fall of 2008, we have learned a lot about the hypocrisy of Sarah Palin.  It is useful to be reminded of the multitude of examples of the hypocrisy of Sarah Palin.  I have listed a few examples below, but because of the length of this article, I have omitted the citations.  Please refer to past posts if you have any question about the truth of the statements below.  I bet you can think of others.  Please help me fill in the list and I’ll post an updated version by the end of the week.  Thanks for your help.

Specific Examples of the Hypocrisy of Sarah Palin
  1. Palin established a PAC asking for money from her supporters so that she could make contributions to candidates who shared her point of view. However Palin seems to have had a hard time finding any candidates to whom she was willing to donate money.  Of the hundreds of thousands of dollars donated to her PAC, only about $10,000 has been donated to any particular candidate.
  2. Vaughn Ward, a candidate endorsed by Palin, doesn’t seem to know any more about world geography than Palin.
  3. Todd took a leave of absence from British Petroleum because of the appearance of a conflict of interest.  When he decided to return to work there was still the appearance of a conflict of interest.
  4. Sarah Palin said that the reason Todd needed to return to work at BP was because they had kids almost old enough to be college age, and she and Todd were not independently wealthy.  The hypocrisy is that two of the kids are now college age, and neither is in college, and now Todd and Sarah are independently wealthy.
  5. Sarah Palin calls herself a “feminist”, but she supported the Supreme Court decision in the Ledbetter case, where the Court ruled that Lilly Ledbetter was not entitled to back pay from her employer, even though the employer intentionally discriminated against her, paid her less than her male counter-parts, and even though her employer hid the facts from her until after she retired.
  6. Katie Couric, a woman, did more damage in her interview of Sarah Palin, than a man could have done.
  7. Sarah Palin was probably picked by McCain because he thought he needed to pick a woman to attract the woman’s vote, but in fact the vote of women for Obama far exceeded that of men.
  8. Even though Palin knew that the Bridge to Nowhere would never be built, she authorized the construction of the Road to Nowhere leading from the airport to the edge of a cliff.
  9. Even though Palin knew that Wasilla didn’t own the property where she wanted to build a hockey center, she authorized construction nevertheless.
  10. Palin mocks President Obama for being a Constitutional law professor, but she was never even a student in a Constitutional law class.
  11. “common sense conservatism” is Palin’s motto, but she has no common sense.
  12. At the Republican Convention in 2008 Palin introduced herself as a “hockey mom”, but hockey moms of Alaska indicated that Palin missed most of the games.
  13. McCain chose Palin as his running mate, but he wouldn’t endorse her after the 2008 election.
  14. Palin told us in her book that “no” she would not have resigned her office as Governor if she aspired to be the President, but the reality is that she is quoted in Trailblazer as saying even when running for Mayor, that she would like to be the President.
  15. Sarah Palin is a conservative evangelical, but she goes to Las Vegas and horse races.
  16. The half-term-ex-Governor opposes drinking of alcohol, but she advocated allowing bars in Wasilla to stay open virtually all night, and Todd would drink in the garage of the family residence.
  17. Palin’s son Track served in the military and made it home without any significant injury.  Even though Palin supports the don’t ask, don’t tell policy, it could have been a homosexual soldier that saved Track’s life.
  18. At virtually every speech given by Palin, she points out the members of the military in attendance, and thanks them for their service.  She does not ask them about their sexual preferences, so the members of the military she is honoring don’t tell about their sexual preferences.
  19. Palin has repeatedly criticized President Obama but she wasn’t willing to finish her term as Governor of Alaska.  Thus a non-politician thinks it appropriate to repeatedly criticize the President of the United States.
  20. Palin was elected by people of Alaska who were fed up with corrupt politicians.  Now the people who know her best, Alaskans, like her the least.
  21. Sarah Palin is identified as the author of Going Rogue, but in the Katie Couric she couldn’t name a single publication she reads.
  22. Being a good Christian we would expect Palin to love her neighbor.  However it seems that having Joe McGinniss, a peaceful man living next to her, that has not done anything to bother Sarah or her family, is more objectionable to Sarah Palin than living next to people who were convicted felons.
  23. Sarah Palin suggested that Joe McGinniss was invading her privacy, but the only picture taken was a picture taken from the Palin house of Joe McGinniss.  In the picture Mr. McGinniss isn’t even looking towards the Palin house.
  24. Palin felt the election of 2008 was in “God’s hands”.  John McCain and Palin lost the election, so God must have wanted to make sure Palin didn’t become the leader of our country.
  25. From the night of the Republican Convention, Sarah advertised herself as a “hockey mom” but the hockey moms of Alaska organized a group of hockey moms who indicated that Sarah missed most of the games.
  26. Palin indicated that she doesn’t presume to know God’s will, but she did write a note to herself in God’s voice, and published it in her best selling book.
  27. The half-term-ex-Governor indicated that it is the entire family’s responsibility to ensure that all the family members had the health care they needed.  However when Bristol’s baby needed health care, it wasn’t Sarah and Todd who provided it; it was the state of Alaska and the federal government.
  28. Even though Sarah Palin has been an outspoken opponent of abortion, she hired Lynn Vincent to be the ghost writer of her book.  Lynn admitted publically that she had an abortion.
  29. Even though Palin suggests that she would never consider having an abortion, she did have an amniocentesis when pregnant with Trig.  The procedure of an amniocentesis carries some risk of a spontaneous abortion.
  30. Even though Palin made a point of saying in her speech at the Republican convention that she said “no thanks” to the bridge to nowhere, she originally was an advocate for the bridge.
  31. During the campaign of 2008 both McCain and Palin worked hard to brand themselves as “mavericks”.  However by the time McCain was running for re-election in Arizona, his identity changed, and he was no longer a maverick.
  32. Palin indicated she was opposed to earmarks.  However she hired a lobbyist while serving as mayor of Wasilla for the very purpose of obtaining earmarks for Wasilla, and he did.
  33. In spite of saying that she was opposed to earmarks, Alaska, while Palin was Governor accepted earmarks to study the mating habits of crabs, and the DNA of harbor seals.
  34. In multiple speeches Palin has indicated she is opposed to higher taxes.  However while Mayor of Wasilla; Palin was responsible for increasing the sales tax.
  35. Palin tried to ban the book Daddy’s Roommate even though she refused to read it.
  36. The very people hired by the McCain campaign to help Palin were the most critical of her, suggesting that she was mentally unbalanced.
  37. Palin indicates she favors teaching abstinence, but she was pregnant when she married Todd.
  38. Even though Sarah Palin has indicated that teaching abstinence is appropriate, her own daughter, the one who was an unwed teenage mother, thought teaching abstinence was not very realistic.
  39. Sarah Palin has been an outspoken advocate for the importance of family, and Todd’s family helped Sarah get elected.  However when Faye Palin, Todd’s step mother ran for mayor, Sarah Palin wouldn’t endorse her.
  40. Even though the Discovery Channel has been associated with programs highlighting the wonders of nature, and even though Palin enjoys killing animals, the Discovery Channel hired her.
  41. One of the television channels that hired Sarah Palin is Fox News but they often don’t report the “news”.  In fact Glenn Beck indicated that he doesn’t report the “news”, but he is a commentator.
  42. Even though Palin lives in a true wilderness, and one of the most beautiful states in America, Palin seems to have no respect for the environment of the animals of Alaska.
  43. While Alaska is realizing immediate effects of global warming, Palin still doubts the merits of the global warming theory.
  44. Todd was advertised as a “stay-at-home-dad” but he never seemed to stay at home.
  45. Palin uses the word “rogue” to describe herself, but that word is defined to mean a scoundrel, or a mean spirited person.
  46. Palin mocks President Obama for using a teleprompter, but she writes on her hand.
  47. Palin’s new book is about virtues, but she is evidently going to rely upon the philosophy and teaching of others to write about virtues in HER book.
  48. Palin’s friend who suggested she wasn’t taking care of her kids, was mysteriously killed in a plane crash shortly after talking to Sarah about this problem.
  49. Palin says in speeches that she wants to balance the budget.  At the same time she advocates an increase in military spending and lowering of taxes, which are both inconsistent with balancing the budget.
  50. People pay $100,000 for a speech Palin has given before.
  51. CSU Stanislaus has $93,000 to Palin to give a speech, but they don’t have enough for any scholarships.
  52. Palin has become recognized as an advocate for the right to life movement and special needs kids. Even though she has given speeches to these groups she charges for her performance and expenses.  She did make a donation of her time to the NRA when she spoke at their national convention.
  53. Trig is a “special needs” child, but his mom relies on someone else to meet those needs.
  54. In her book, Going Rogue, Palin describes herself as a “public servant”.  However the main service she has performed for America is ensuring the loss of McCain in the 2008 election, and resigning her office as Governor.
  55. British Petroleum has been the focus of people in this country, regardless of political ideologies, but Palin in her recent Facebook post, blames the radical environmentalists for the BP spill.
  56. Palin’s proclaimed area of “specialty” is energy.  However she resigned her position as Oil & Gas Commissioner after serving less than one year.
  57. In multiple speeches, and during the campaign of 2008, Palin characterized herself as a “real American”.  However the average American doesn’t make $12,000,000 in less than one year, they don’t fly in private planes or first class on commercial airlines, and most of us have to watch the Academy Awards on our television.
  58. Grandma Palin says that family matters should stay private, but she or her family received $300,000 from People magazine for pictures of her grandson.
  59. Palin indicates that we should all seek “divine intervention” but she must have forgotten to tell her sister-in law how to pray, so she wouldn’t have ended up in jail.
  60. Palin indicates that she would never presume to know what God’s will, but she did presume to write a letter to herself, in God’s voice.
  61. Even though Palin called for the resignation of Rahm Emanuel because he used the word “retarded”, it was appropriate for Rush Limbaugh to use the word because it was in the “satirical sense”.
  62. When Glenn Beck interviewed Palin and asked her which of the founding fathers was her favorite, and she gave the same answer to him that she had given Katie Couric when asking about the sources of her information, saying “all of them,” Beck said “bullcrap”.
  63. In the same week Palin was interviewed by Glenn Beck to talk about Joe McGinniss, and expressed outrage at the alleged invasion of privacy of her children even though Mr. McGinniss hadn’t done anything to her children, Glen Beck had devoted at least 10 minutes to mocking Malia Obama, the President’s 13 year old daughter.
  64. While Sarah Palin was named one of Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential people, the best person Time could find to write about Palin was Ted Nugent.
  65. Even though we may have suspected Sarah Palin was a racist, her own father indicated that her reason for leaving Hawaii, was that all the Asians made her feel uncomfortable.
  66. Even though Palin regularly mentioned Bill Ayers during the 2008 campaign, suggesting that Obama was “paling around with terrorists”, Sarah’s own husband was a member of the Alaska Independence Party for at least 6 years, and that party advocated secession for Alaska.
  67. While Palin was critical of Obama for attending church where his pastor was saying unpatriotic things, Palin’s pastor was in Africa hunting and capturing witches.
  68. Even though Palin didn’t support public health care, as a child she went to Canada for medical services provided through their national health care system.
  69. Even though Palin feels that the extended family should be responsible for paying the cost of health care for all family members, Palin’s first and only grandchild, relied upon public health care, because Todd was 1/8 Eskimo.
  70. In spite of the fact that Palin’s dad is a school teacher, she doesn’t seem to place much emphasis on education.  None of her kids are in college. Todd doesn’t have a college degree, and Piper has repeatedly missed school to accompany her mother.
  71. Even though Palin was aware of the fact that BP was ignoring safety standards, and intentionally risking the lives of its employees and the environment, Palin was proud of her success in converting Alaska’s interest from a royalty to an interest like that of a shareholder.
  72. Sarah slams President Obama for using a teleprompter yet she uses one herself for her show

An observation

I noticed that since Bristol has been on DWTS $arah has been interviewed by Barbara Walters and Robin Roberts from ABC, the same network DWTS is on.  I have a hunch that $arah made a deal with ABC-they let Bristol be on DWTS and she will make herself ($arah) available to interviews on ABC.  I can see $arah pulling crap like that, at Bristol's expense.

Reason #13 not to vote for Sarah Palin for President

The Immoral Minority: It is deja vu all over again at the Sarah Palin bo...: "It took me some time to decide if I REALLY wanted to attempt to attend yet another Sarah Palin book signing or not. I mean after the last t..."

SARAH DOESN'T CARE ABOUT THE HEALTH OF OUR CHILDREN

Reason #9 not to vote for Sarah Palin for President

HER BULLSHIT ALLEGATION THAT OBAMA WAS GOING TO GET UP DEATH PANELS

Like many disagreements in the digital age, it all started with a post on Facebook. Last Friday, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin posted a note to her Facebook page and introduced a new term to the health care debate:

Palin, Aug. 7: The America I know and love is not one in which my parents or my baby with Down Syndrome will have to stand in front of Obama’s “death panel” so his bureaucrats can decide, based on a subjective judgment of their “level of productivity in society,” whether they are worthy of health care.

Unsurprisingly, the phrase "death panel" does not appear in the health care bill that passed House committees last month. And Palin’s post did not make entirely clear what she might interpret as a "death panel." Nonetheless, the phrase stuck. It skyrocketed up the Google search index and was quoted by George Stephanopoulos while interviewing former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich on ABC News’ "This Week." Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley of Iowa made similar claims while speaking out against "a government run plan to decide when to pull the plug on grandma” at a town hall on Wednesday.
President Obama addressed these concerns about death panels and unplugged grandmothers during a town hall meeting in New Hampshire on Tuesday. He said:

Obama, Aug. 11: The rumor that’s been circulating a lot lately is this idea that somehow the House of Representatives voted for "death panels" that will basically pull the plug on grandma …  this arose out of a provision in one of the House bills that allowed Medicare to reimburse people for consultations about end-of-life care, setting up living wills, the availability of hospice, et cetera. So the intention of the members of Congress was to give people more information so that they could handle issues of end-of-life care when they’re ready, on their own terms. It wasn’t forcing anybody to do anything. This is I guess where the rumor came from.
Obama is referring to Section 1233 of H.R. 3200, which is titled “Advance Care Planning Consultation.” As we explained a few weeks ago, it "would require Medicare to pay for some end-of-life planning counseling sessions with a health care practitioner." Our previous article was a response to the false claim that the health care bill would require forced counseling to push euthanasia. And it’s this provision on end-of-life counseling that’s the primary basis for Palin’s remarks.
On Aug. 12, Palin attempted to clear up her argument with a detailed Facebook post. She discussed Section 1233 and said that "it’s misleading for the President to describe this section as an entirely voluntary provision that simply increases the information offered to Medicare recipients." Palin goes onto argue:

Palin, Aug. 12: The issue is the context in which that information is provided and the coercive effect these consultations will have in that context. … These consultations are authorized whenever a Medicare recipient’s health changes significantly or when they enter a nursing home, and they are part of a bill whose stated purpose is “to reduce the growth in health care spending.” Is it any wonder that senior citizens might view such consultations as attempts to convince them to help reduce health care costs by accepting minimal end-of-life care?
The fact remains that the bill wouldn’t require patients to receive counseling sessions, nor would it require a doctor to offer one. Rather, it modifies Section 1861(s)2 of the Social Security Act, defining what services Medicare will pay for. So if a patient receives a counseling session from a doctor or health care practitioner, he or she doesn’t have to pay for it – Medicare will. As we pointed out in our earlier story, Medicare will also pay for prosthetic limbs, but that doesn’t mean that every recipient gets those, too.
And the concern that these sessions are "part of a bill whose stated purpose is ‘to reduce the growth in health care spending,’ " while true, is hardly the whole story. One of the bill’s other goals is to "provide affordable, quality health care for all Americans." The legislation is 1,017 pages long with sections that cut costs, some that increase care, and some that do both. In fact, the counseling sessions would add to government expenses since Medicare would have to reimburse doctors. The nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office estimates officially that Section 1233 will cost a net total of $2.7 billion over 10 years.
Furthermore, proposals to offer reimbursement for such counseling have attracted bipartisan support. Republican Sen. Johnny Isakson of Georgia, a sponsor of one such measure, gave an interview to the Washington Post on August 10, in which he discussed the benefits of these counseling sessions "both for the sanity of the family and what savings the family has." Isakson also commented on the recent confusion around the issue:

Isakson, Aug. 10: I just had a phone call where someone said Sarah Palin’s web site had talked about the House bill having death panels on it where people would be euthanized. How someone could take an end of life directive or a living will as that is nuts. You’re putting the authority in the individual rather than the government. I don’t know how that got so mixed up.
Palin also attempts to buttress her case by quoting some writings by Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, a health policy adviser to the president. Here she’s echoing claims made elsewhere, twisting the meaning of Emanuel’s writings and taking them out of context. We examined those claims in an Ask FactCheck item we posted earlier today, and won’t repeat the details here.
Finally, for those inclined to get their information from Facebook postings, may we suggest  FactCheck.org’s own page?

Case in point, Sarah Palin is a liar!

Reason #8 not to vote for Sarah Palin as President

TRAVELGATE

Palin Calls for Military Airlift to Aid Haiti

The only reason Sarah is down there is to get tips on how to steal an election. She doesn't give a fuck about Haiti. If she did she would have gone down there January 13, 2010 the day after the earthquake.

The ugly head of Sarah Palin rears its head again

http://www.adn.com/2010/12/11/1599701/murkowski-renews-query-into-allen.html

Now that she's apparently no lame duck, Sen. Lisa Murkowski said she plans to continue her effort to hold top Justice Department officials accountable for dropping the teen sexual exploitation prosecution of former Veco Corp. chairman Bill Allen.

Murkowski described as "wimpy" and "unsatisfactory" a written response by the Justice Department to a critical letter she sent last summer demanding an answer about why the Justice Department shut down its case.

Her letter was written the day the Daily News reported on the decision by a top-level Justice Department official, who overruled at least two of his own prosecutors. Two Anchorage Police Department detectives said the case should have at least gone to a grand jury.

http://www.adn.com/2010/12/11/1600082/courts-begin-fining-rural-parents.html

Skipping school? If you're in certain villages, Mom may be the one who pays for it.

Courts in Western Alaska are now fining parents hundreds, sometimes thousands, of dollars if their kid misses too many days of class, according to court records and rural school district officials.

It's too early to say if the effort is improving attendance rates in isolated hunting and fishing communities that have long struggled to keep kids in class. And collecting the money is another matter.

But for some families, the stakes are steep; the bills are big
.

What does this have to do with Sarah Palin? Plenty. While Governor she would not increase funding to fight sexual assault and child abuse cases. And for the truancy thing, Sarah never sends her kids to school, she is setting a bad example for the rest of the state. Even if she isn't governor anymore

Reason #4 not to vote for Sarah Palin for President

BABYGATE!

It is pretty obvious Sarah Palin did not give birth to Trig.  Lots of pictures, videos, and comments to prove it too. And it's all right here.  Special Thank you to the authors of Palingates for doing this:

Palingates Babygate roundup

This picture was taken at the end of March 2008  Sarah would have been 7/12 months along.  Does she look pregnant to you?  I didn't think so.

Will add more later.

Reason #3 not to vote for Sarah Palin for president

In a speech at California State University-Stanislaus in May, Sarah misidentifies where her hero Ronald Reagan attended college.  For someone who loves Reagan so much, she should at least know where he matriculated.

U.S. Troops Boo Kathy Griffin for Attacking Bristol Palin

This time it is Kathy Griffin

http://www.tvguide.com/News/Palin-Griffin-Fat-1026489.aspx

During the VH1 Divas' Salute the Troops special, Griffin cracked that Palin was the only contestant in the history of Dancing with the Stars to gain weight. "She gained like 30 pounds a week. I swear to God, it was fantastic -- she's like the white Precious," Griffin said, provoking jeers from the Marine Corps Air Station crowd.

"The audience's reaction to this 'comedian' spoke volumes, and the decent people I know would probably have booed her, too," Palin said in a statement to Fox News. "I hope people didn't have to pay money to hear her negativity and criticisms."

Griffin, like many comedians, has used the Palin family and Sarah Palin, in particular, for material — even pretending to have a relationship with Bristol's ex-fiancé, Levi Johnston.

"You can boo louder than that!" Griffin of My Life on the D-List fame yelled in response to the audience of soldiers. "I love it!"

Love it! Of course Bristol had to respond to that. I think Kathy hit a nerve there with Bristy. I wonder if it was Todd who raped Bristol, she got pregnant by him and had Trig? I wonder what other secrets Levi told Kathy.

Sarah Palin passes on RNC chair

http://blogs.abcnews.com/thenote/2010/12/sarah-palin-passes-on-rnc-.html

Sarah Palin isn’t running…for one job at least. She doesn’t appear to be a candidate to Chair the Republican National Committee.

The activist group Tea Party Nation, planned on sending a letter to Palin pleading for her to run.

“We need you as Chairman of the RNC. You have shown in the past no hesitation to take on the establishment,” reads a draft of the letter posted on the Tea Party Nation web-site. “You did it in Alaska. If we end up with establishment control of the GOP and their support for an establishment candidate in 2012, Obama and the socialists will have won.”

But in an exclusive written statement to ABC News, Palin says:

"I respect the desire to have someone in charge of the RNC who understands the wishes of the conservative grassroots and understands that power resides with the people and not the vested interests in DC. However, the primary role of the RNC chair seems be that of fundraiser-in-chief, and there are others who would probably be much more comfortable asking people for money than I would be, and they would definitely enjoy it more."

So for now, Sarah Palin will stick to speeches, selling books, and starring in “Sarah Palin’s Alaska” on TLC. And she has no plans to run…for this at least.

Of course she doesn't want the job because it means she would actually have to work and answer to someone. Plus she would not be able to raise money for HERSELF. She would probably quit that job too.

Bwahahahahaha! Sarah Palin's Alaska hits a new low

http://www.businessinsider.com/sarah-palins-alaska-hits-new-ratings-low-2010-12

Here's what we are learning from ratings roller coaster that Sarah Palin's Alaska appears to be on: the country is not interested in hunting and fishing, but is very interested in Palin's family dramas.

The ratings scorecard thus far:

2.8 million viewers on Sunday, which was down from 3.5 million last week, which was up from 3.5 million in the second week, which was down from a record-breaking 5 million for the premiere.

Well that kid Tre who was called a f***** by Willow was right. Sarah Palin's Alaska is an EPIC FAIL! I predict it will get canceled after the seventh episode.

Bristol lashes out at yet another critic

This time it is Kathy Griffin

In memory of the 2300+ men who gave their lives at Pearl Harbor

Reason #2 not to vote for Sarah for president.

In this video taken in Homer, AK, $arah, Todd, and Bristol confront a constinuent who does not approve of her quitting as Governor of AK. Todd intentionally bumps into the woman, Bristol smarts off to her, and $arah rolls her eyes when the woman tell her she is a teacher. Which is funny considering $arah's dad was a science teacher. Since she treats constinuents who do not like her like shit, imgaine what she would do to a world leader.

$arah makes Kate Gosselin cry on SPA

Sarah Palin makes Kate Gosselin cry on camping trip

The Mama Grizzly made another one of America's most famous (and prolific) mamas break down in tears.
During an episode of Sarah Palin's reality show on TLC, octomom Kate Gosselin wells up while on a camping trip with the outdoorsy ex-vice presidential candidate.

The entire show will air on Dec. 12.

"I have never camped for real," Gosselin admits in the episode's trailer, released on Saturday by UsMagazine.com.

Previews show the strange duo roughing it in Palin's native Alaska. Gosselin is seen hiking with her eight children, crying for decent food and watching fearfully as Palin shoots a gun.

"She's going to be relying on me to protect her, Palin says.

But after a mental breakdown, Gosselin decides she's had enough of the great outdoors and storms off the campsite after just two hours, the National Enquirer reported. The trip was supposed to last two days.
Gosselin, who divorced her kids' father Jon last year, initially agreed to come on the show for her TLC series "Kate Plus 8.

"Come on! It wasn't that bad!" the former Alaska governor lamented.

Don't feel bad Kate.  $arah makes me cry everytime she does something retarded or opens her big mouth.

$arah Palin throws another friend under the bus-Elizabeth Hasselbeck

http://topnews.us/content/229901-palin-and-elisabeth-once-good-friends-now-not-good-terms-each-other

Elizabeth Hasselbeck complained about the articles "Dancing with the Stars" that it was a biased and was full of lies. The article quoted that Palin betrayed the Alaska voters, who once elected her as a governor. But she asserted that Palin has not betrayed the people of Alaska as she turned her job to the most efficient and capable lieutenant governor.

Elisabeth Hasselbeck is of the most popular, talented, intelligent and articulate politicians in America and may be president of America in 2012.
Elisabeth and former Alaska governor, Sarah Palin were once good friends. Elisabeth has supported her friend and has also campaigned for him for the vice presidential an election in 2008 but at present Palin is just not responding to Elisabeth.
The article quoted their friendship and said,"Elisabeth feels used by the former governor. She stood up and did everything she could to help get Sarah into the White House, expecting to have made a friend for life. Elisabeth isn't fake. You might not like her politics, but she is a very genuine person. If she likes someone, she will do whatever she can to help them."

How is that view from underneath the bus there Elizabeth?  Too bad you didn't get the memo two years ago.

Homophobia runs in the Palin family

http://www.tmz.com/2010/12/05/bristol-palin-maragaret-cho-facebook-kd-lang-indigo-girls/

Someone needs to keep the Palin girls off Facebook -- this time it's Bristol posting an open letter to her "Dancing With the Stars" co-star Margaret Cho ... and making a gay "joke" at Margaret's expense.

Bristol responded to a blog Cho wrote this week that suggested Sarah Palin made Bristol do "DWTS" -- and that Sarah "harshly and openly" blames Bristol for costing her the election.

In Bristol's new post, which she wrote last night, she made her point in a few decently-worded paragraphs, but then decided to end things by saying that if Margaret understood conservative politics better, she "would embrace us faster than KD Lang at an Indigo Girls concert."

Reading between the lines ... KD Lang = lesbian. Indigo Girls = lesbian. Cho = lesbian.

But Bristol did say she's willing to let Cho babysit Tripp, so there's that.

I do not know who is writing Bristol's FB posts, could be Rebecca Ann Mansour, aka RAM, but the post sounds so juvenile who knows?

Reason #1 not to vote for $arah Palin

From time to time I am going to post a reason not to vote for Sarah Palin. Here is #1 (these are in no specific order)

Sarah is in bed with the Alaska Independence Party. The AIP was founded by the late Joe Vogler and it's primary cause is for Alaska to secede from the United States. Sarah's husband Todd was a registered member of the AIP for seven years. Sarah even wanted the McCain campaign to deny Todd was ever a member. Based on this video she made, it looks like she is pretty cozy with them too.

Red and Black

I picked a red background and black lettering for my blog because they are colors of Satan and that is what Sarah is.

Bristol whines about Keith Olbermann's tongue in cheek comment about her being WPIW

http://www.facebook.com/notes/bristol-palin/mr-olbermann-sorry-we-cant-all-be-as-perfect-as-you/174283895932837
Recently, a left wing commentator named Keith Olbermann attacked me for being a spokesperson for abstinence education and for being an Ambassador for the Candies Foundation, which promotes teen pregnancy awareness and prevention education. He went so far as to call me "the worst person" he knows, apparently, for my efforts to educate teenagers about the real world risks of premarital sex.

Accusing me of hypocrisy is by now, an old canard. What Mr. Olbermann lacks in originality he makes up for with insincere incredulity. Mr. Olbermann fails to understand that in order to have credibility as a spokesperson, it sometimes takes a person who has made mistakes. Parents warn their children about the mistakes they made so they are not repeated. Former gang members travel to schools to educate teenagers about the risks of gang life. Recovered addicts lecture to others about the risks of alcohol and drug abuse. And yes, a teen mother talks about the benefits of preventing teen pregnancy.

I have never claimed to be perfect. If that makes me the "worst person in the world" to Mr. Olbermann, then I must apologize for not being absolutely faultless like he undoubtedly must be.

To Mr. Olbermann let me say this: you can attack me all you want. But you will not stop me from getting my message out about teen pregnancy prevention. And one day, if you ever have a daughter, you may change your mind about me.

Bristol Palin

Bristol quit your fucking whining.  You are the Worst Person in the World.  You are knocked up again, spreading a bullshit message about abstinence.  You will not let Levi see your son, you disparage Levi in public, you allow Ivy Frye to raise Tripp when Levi is perfectly willing to help out.  And on top of that you act like a spoiled brat on DWTS, talk about giving the middle finger to everyone who hates you and your bitch mother, BTW you would be holding that finger up in the air a long time, whine that Maks did not like you, claim that you are REAL and Hollywood is FAKE, and comment that it sucks you got low scores on DWTS.   You are a bitch, a grifter, and a whiner.  Now get the hell out from underneath your mothers thumb (or some drunk sailor) and start acting like an adult.
