John Edwards

As all of you know by now John Edwards was indicted for misusing campaign funds to hide his mistress and illegitimate daughter.  For me personally I was disappointed in his behavior because I supported him early in the 2008 Election until he dropped out.  While I am not defending him or his actions it bugs me he could go to prison while Sarah Palin who is the devil's child will skate.

The Dems always get prosecuted or forced to resign while the Republicans skate.

Democrats:

Bill Clinton-impeached for lying about a blow job and convicted of perjury while Newt Gingrich was fucking around on his wife
Elliot Spitzer-resigned after it was reported he was patronizing hookers.
Rod Blagoevich-impeached and removed from his IL governership over corruption
Jim McGreevey-resigned over his affair with his gay lover who he gave a prime state job to

Republicans:
Richard Nixon-resigned but never went to jail over Watergate
Ronald Reagan-nothing happened to him over Iran-Contra but many members of his administration went to jail
Mark Sanford-admitted to having an affair but never resigned from his SC governership
David Vitter-like Elliot Spitzer patronized hookers but is still a Senator
Newt Gingrich-multiple affairs but is now running for President
George W. Bush-started two wars illegally but is a free man
Dick Cheney-see above

And this is why I vote Democrat

Reason #50 not to vote for Sarah Palin for anything

She endorsed Saxby Chambliss, Senator from Georgia

Like Sarah, he is anti-choice, he got a 100% approval rating from the National Right to Life Committe.  He is anti-education, the NEA gave him an F.  The League of Conservation Voters gave him a 0.  AFL-CIO he got an 11%  He did return campaign contributions he recieved from disgraced lobbyist Jack Abramhoff.

On November 19, 2001 he made the following comment:homeland security would be improved by turning the sheriff loose to "arrest every Muslim that crosses the state line."

What a guy!

Sarah Palin supported Barack Obama for she was against him

From Newsvine

Sarah Palin is a closet Obama fan. Don't take MY word for it. Her own words speak for themselves.
A few weeks ago, when Palin figured she was no longer in contention, she opened up a bit. The following is an excerpt from a recent article in The New Yorker. (Didn't like their infamous cover, but this article is interesting.)

Read it closely. Her own words reveal her admiration for Barack Obama.

(Article preface) 'Before she was running against him, Sarah Palin--the governor of Alaska and now the Republican candidate for Vice-President of the United States--thought it was pretty neat that Barack Obama was edging ahead of John McCain in her usually solidly red state.

After all, she said, Obama's campaign was using the same sort of language that she had in her gubernatorial race.'

(Quote from the article) "The theme of our campaign was new energy. It was no more status quo, no more politics as usual, it was all about change. So then to see that Obama - literally, part of his campaign uses those themes, even, new energy, change, all that, I think, O.K., well, we were a little bit ahead on that."

She also noted, "Something's kind of changing here in Alaska, too, for being such a red state on the Presidential level. Obama's doing just fine in polls up here, which is kind of wigging people out, because they're saying, 'This hasn't happened for decades that in polls the 'D' - the Democratic candidate - is doing just fine. To me, that's indicative, too. It's the no-more-status-quo, it's change."

What was THAT again? The only thing she isn't doing with this statement is actually STUMPING for Barack Obama.

Or maybe she is.

'Vote Obama. Even the Republican Vice-Presidential nominee likes him...'

John McCain and his campaign advisors should have vetted their selection just a bit more, I think.

You can read the entire article from The New Yorker HERE.

Well isn't this rich!  Maybe that is her plan all along, get Obama re-elected by acting like a total crazy, psychotic bitch.
