Reason #74 not to vote for Sarah Palin for anything

She and her aides rigged polls to make them in her favor.  If she would skewer a poll like that, she will falsify any information, like classified intelligence.

Her highest approval ratings were about 90%.  I bet they were rigged too.

Another very positive review of Geoffrey Dunn's book "The Lies of Sarah Palin."

Dunn's book is pretty simply constructed. We get the life of Sarah Palin, as told by those who know and knew her, in roughly chronological order. It stands in pretty stark contrast to the official version, however, and here's where Dunn shows his ability to write more than news. While carefully documenting everything he writes about Palin, he also manages to give readers a story, to put things in context. Through fine prose, a remarkable job of excavating witnesses and friends from across the years, and the ability to craft character from fact, Dunn tells us the story of Sarah Palin.

This story is not without controversy, and what Dunn presents contradicts much of the publicity associated with Sarah Palin's carefully constructed image. In a sense, this is also a book about the state of news coverage in American media, where competence and coherence compete for our attention with sheer chutzpah, while we select facts to bolster our own opinions from a buffet of boutique made-for-me outlets. Dunn's story is powerful and convincing, no matter what your political inclinations may be. Of course, you'd have to read it, and by virtue of the title alone, many will understandably be disinclined to do so. They'll certainly miss a compelling story of American politics.

Now that the hubbub over Frank Bailey's book has died down, people are really starting to take a much longer, and more significant look at Geoffrey's book.

I know that people have been comparing the two books, and proclaiming which one they like the best, but in my opinion BOTH books have something important to offer. 

In Bailey's book you get the behind the scenes 411 on what was happening in real time during Palin's campaign, her scandalous behavior while she was Governor, and her frame of mind after she returned from the McCain/Palin campaign trail.

In Dunn's book you get just about everything else.

Of course there is STILL much left untold, which leaves plenty of interesting details, and scandalous facts,  for Joe McGinniss to reveal in his book.

The important thing to note as you read these three books is that they ALL describe Sarah Palin as the duplicitous, manipulative, and deeply troubled woman we all know her to be.

Which of course is in stark contrast to the person described in "Going Rogue",  the propaganda laden "The Undefeated," and even Palin's stupid reality show.

By the way, speaking of the REAL Sarah Palin, you would be well served to take a moment and read what Andrew Halcro had to say about Snowdrift Snooki in his Anchorage Press article entitled "We Can't Make These Things Up." He is ALSO describing a woman, very similar to the one in Baily and Dunn's books.

Until today I did not realize that a picture existed of the exact moment that Sarah Palin was e-mailing Frank Bailey in a desperate attempt to find out the name of the person who had just interviewed her.

That person in fact, was ME.

What happened next I covered in my post titled The Bloggers and the Barracuda or A funny thing happened on my way to Wasilla.

We finished packing things up, thanked her for the interview, and exited the building to load up the car. After we finished I left Dennis outside with the equipment and went inside to get my friends and tell them that we were ready to hit the road.

When I located them in the sports center one of my friends asked “Did you see her?”
“See who?” I asked warily.

“Sarah Palin! When you left she handed Trig to Piper and charged across the middle of the basketball court in hot pursuit of you guys!”

Uh oh!

As we walked toward the exit we kept our eyes peeled, but did not see any sign of the Governor, so I figured that maybe it was no big deal and that she had given up and decided to rejoin her kids on the basketball court.

However when I climbed into the car I asked Dennis if HE had seen Palin.

“Oh yeah” he said. “She came out with a notebook and wrote down your license plate number.”

Apparently right before she stormed after us she was frantically e-mailing Frank Bailey, which was why moments after we drove away he would call Dennis Zaki's phone and try repeatedly to find out just who had interviewed the Governor. I was still anonymous in those days so he did not get an answer.

For some reason the incident was not mentioned in the book, but there is no doubt that the picture is from that day.

Jeremy Morlock wrote Sarah asking if she could get him a Compassionate Reassignment.  His mother was having problems after the death of her husband.  Sarah ignored it.  Jeremy is responsible for murdering that Afghan boy, but if Sarah had helped him he may not have snapped.  Damn you Sarah!

This e-mail confirms that Bristol was attending Anchorage West High School in Feb 2008.  Just means she was over her "mono" by then.

The e-mails also confirm what Frank Bailey said in his book, that they ghost wrote letters to the editor and had their friends sign them.

And Sarah really really hates Lyda Green.

Washington Post offers opportunity to ask Frank Bailey questions about massive Sarah Palin e-mail dump.

The state of Alaska recently released more than 13,000 of Sarah Palin's emails (over 24,000 pages) during her time serving as Alaska's governor. Former Palin aide, Frank Bailey, will chat about the contents of the emails, some of which he used in his tell-all book "Blind Allegiance to Sarah Palin: A Memoir of Our Tumultuous Years".

The Post is requesting submissions from YOU concerning which questions you would like Bailey to answer, so go ahead and ask those questions which have been driving you crazy since Friday morning.

As for MY interview with Frank I have some troubling news on that front.

I recently discovered that Bailey has changed his e-mail address and has not reached out to confirm that he is willing to do an interview, even though he did confirm he would at one time.  So for right now I do not have a great deal of hope that there will be a Gryphen/Bailey interview.

If things change I will certainly let you know.

Why we will NEVER find the smoking gun in the Sarah Palin e-mail dump.

12:28 p.m. AT (4:28 p.m. ET): The analysts from Crivella West, which scanned and placed these 24,000 pieces of paper online for msnbc.com's searchable archive, say they've noticed something interesting in the way the state of Alaska withheld information from the Palin emails.

In all their big legal cases, the analysts said, they see discrepancies in the redactions, which is a fancy way of saying the hiding of information. Part of the text may be blanked out in one copy of an email, but the text will be revealed in another copy.

But in this Palin email release, after all the long delays and the insanity/hilarity of releasing emails in 250-pound bundles of bankers boxes, the redactions were entirely clean. If the state lawyers and the governors office hid something in one copy of an email, they hid it in every copy.

The analysts, who work on the biggest tort cases in the country, said they had never seen this level of care taken in blanking out information.

Which proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that there was DEFINITELY much that Palin desperately did not want found in these e-mails, and which also explains why it took so incredibly long before they released them to the public.

However, like I said before, Frank Bailey has many of these e-mails in their unredacted form.

If he truly wants to pay penance for the things that he did while working with Palin, he MUST release those e-mails.  It is both the Christian, and patriotic, thing to do.

There have long been rumors that Bristol either never did attend classes at West High, or that she only attended for a short time before disappearing from school altogether.  (The rumor has been that she had Mono, but there is NO confirmation of that whatsoever.)This e-mail proves that she was at least still attending as late as February 2008.

I also have a source who claims she was still there in March when her mother announced her pregnancy.  After that I really have no idea, though Levi claims he and Bristol were home schooled at some point.

Frank Bailey swears he saw Bristol in tight jeans at the hospital on April 18, 2008, the day that Sarah "gave birth," and used that to dispel any idea that Bristol was Trig's real mother. A notion, by the way, that I walked away from over two years ago.

And this picture, taken in April 2008 right before Mercede attended that year's prom, supports Frank's observation that Bristol could not have been the mother of the child born that day.  If in fact a child actually WAS born that day.

This dramatically reduces the time within which Bristol could have given birth since it was reported that she left Wasilla in the fall of 2007, and the next time she is accounted for is in West High in February 2008. So did she have a baby in the fall of 2007, or did she not? I have heard from several sources that she DID have a baby, but nobody has ever been able to provide a date.

So that is the mystery surrounding one possible pregnancy, but there is also something rather odd about Bristol's pregnancy with Tripp as well.

I am not even going to attempt to draw any conclusionns here, except to ask, "Why don't these Palin women have regular pregnancies, like every OTHER woman in America?"

Update: Okay everybody hold off on condemning Frank over this supposed "donation to fight for parental consent, even for  incest victims."

Phil called me before he went over to FDL and said he thought it was mentioned in the back of Bailey's book, though HE had not yet seen it.  If it is I have not been able to find it so far.

He also said Frank mentioned it while being interviewed by Dana Loesch.  I just listened to the interview and (unless I missed it) there was absolutely no mention of this. (You can listen for yourself here.)

I also just received an e-mail from Jeanne Devin and she has never heard anything about this.

So before we all go off half cocked, let's make sure this information is accurate.  Right now Phil is the SOLE source of this information. I know that Frank is a supporter of parental consent, but I have NO concrete evidence that he is donating the proceeds of this book to that cause.

Update 2: I just heard back from Jeanne again.

Bailey has NO plans to donate any money to Pro-Life programs of any kind.

I have no idea why Phil made this accusation, but it has NO validity, and was NOT found in the two places that he identified such a statement could be found.

To repeat, this is a FALSE statement, and should not keep anyone from purchasing this book.

Palin's Chris Wallace interview. Venom, viciousness, and vindictiveness, all on display.

I just finished watching Palin's interview with Chris Wallace, and I am currently taking my usual anti-venom shots to recover. Wow, was she on a rampage or what?

She went after the President, Frank Bailey, Mitt Romney, and everybody who dares questions her intelligence. Which, I guess is everybody.

That was even uglier than usual!

I need to ask for your help in locating the video and transcript of this interview so that I can post all of it.

WALLACE: I got to ask you real quickly about that, though. You realized that you messed up about Paul Revere, don't you?

PALIN: You know what? I didn't mess up about Paul Revere. Here is what Paul Revere did. He warned the Americans that the British were coming, the British were coming, and they were going to try take our arms and we got to make sure that we were protecting ourselves and shoring up all of ammunitions and our firearms so that they couldn't take it.

But remember that the British had already been there, many soldiers for seven years in that area. And part of Paul Revere's ride -- and it wasn't just one ride -- he was a courier, he was a messenger. Part of his ride was to warn the British that we're already there. That, hey, you're not going to succeed. You're not going to take American arms. You are not going to beat our own well- armed persons, individual, private militia that we have. He did warn the British.

And in a shout-out, gotcha type of question that was asked of me, I answered candidly. And I know my American history.

I see that her minions, and researchers, tried to dig up answers for her to use so that made she did not seem so ignorant, but it is much too late for that.  Everybody who saw that clip KNOWS she did not have any idea what she was talking about, and trying to change history (Which apparently her people are literally doing by trying to edit Revere's Wikipedia page.) will never make her seem intelligent.

WALLACE: All right. I want to talk about a controversy because this week, Alaska officials, as you well know, are going to release thousands of pages of your e-mails as governor. Are you worried that some of those emails could be damaging?

PALIN: No, because, you know, I think every rock in the Palin household that could ever be kicked over and uncovered anything, it's already been kicked over. I don't think there's anything private in our family now. A lot of those emails obviously weren't meant for public consumption. They are between staff members. They're probably between family members.

So, you know what, I'm sure people are going to capitalize on this opportunity to go through 25,000 emails and perhaps take things out of context. (In Palin-speak that means to tell the truth about them.)They'll never truly know what the context of each one of the emails was, or each one of the issues were that I was working on that day, or in that time period.

But whatever, Chris. It's like nothing surprises me anymore. We'll keep doing what we're doing. I'm going to keep going forward with solutions that I want to see applied to this great country, the challenges that we're facing. And things like that are going to be perhaps a distraction for others. They won't distract me.

Especially since Palin is confident that the really damaging stuff has been redacted or is contained in of those 2,415 e-mails that will never see the light of day.  Remember it is HER people who are combing through these e-mails.

WALLACE: Let me just ask one follow-up in that regard, because one of your former advisers, Frank Bailey, has written a book. And in it, he says, and he uses some of your e-mails because he was the recipient of them, he says that there were times when you were unethical, that he was told to write fake letters to the editor under false names or to spend hours manipulating TV polls by voting on the phone over and over again.

PALIN: Those are complete lies, Chris. And I say it unequivocally that Frank Bailey has some ethical problems of his own. In fact, out the 25,000 employees that I was in charge of, 24,000, in Alaska, and in our large administration, and with the $14 billion that we were working on, heady things, big things were working on, only one person in the entire administration had to undergo ethics training. And it was because of blunders that this individual, Frank Bailey, would engage in, and result in.
It was Frank Bailey who still under investigation today, but making money off of taking private emails from somebody after having hoarded them for some years. It was only Frank Bailey who was ordered to undergo ethics training. So, he's got some issues.

Frank Bailey has ethical problems because he lied and broke rules ON PALIN'S BEHALF! Palin took a church going, highly ethical man, and poisoned his mind until he did things that were totally out of character for him. Which by the way, is the fate of ANYBODY that gets too close to Sister Sarah. Remember Meg Stapleton? Bill McAllister? Rebecca Mansour? Ever wonder why her kids act the way that they do?

What? Do you think all of that is just a coincidence?

And as for telling lies?  Frank Bailey has un-redacted e-mails to back up HIS version of events.  I wonder if this hypocrite is willing to put up HER e-mails, completely un-redacted, to show where Bailey lied in his book? Don't bother holding your breath.

This woman horribly damages the people that she directly comes into contact with, and she will do the same to our country.  In fact, she already has.

From the very beginning, Sarah had a plan that God would answer her Jabez-like prayers. And while none of us (Frank, me, and third co-author Jeanne Devon) believe God played any part, amazingly her dream for riches came true; the three of us decided that she’d have been wiser to pray for happiness.

Well documented in Blind Allegiance, Sarah came to relate to yet another Biblical figure, Queen Esther, going so far as to borrow the one-time savior of the Jewish people’s most famous line on several occasions: “If I die, I die.” In our book, we document several emails where the governor (who said repeatedly, “I hate this damn job”) marveled at how God chose her, above all others, for divine purpose. And while Frank was blindly allegiant to a woman he once truly believed was Ronald Reagan in a dress, Sarah was no less blind in her own faith in herself. She became convinced that she had Reagan’s so-called steely spine. She swore publicly that her skin was rhino thick, even to the point of lecturing Hilary Clinton to buck up and adopt Sarah’s ability to take the heat in the political kitchen. Frank and the others who knew the backbone filleted, thin-skinned truth, choked at the words despite continuing to believe in her mission. Not everyone in this world, they rationalized, is self-aware. If this were her only fault, they could live with that.

Unfortunately, this was the least of the character flaws that made her, in Frank’s words, “…not only ill-suited to head a political party or occupy national office, but would lead to a disaster of, well, biblical proportions.”

Sarah was, at best, an Old Testament Christian (an oxymoron since Christianity began with the birth of Christ and the creation of the New Testament). And she was a revisionist at that. An eye for an eye became two eyes for an eye. Eventually she translated that into the belief that any perceived slight deserved nothing less than personal destruction. Even in the case of a man of God, who championed what Sarah claimed was her most cherished principal - the preservation of unborn life - when causing her public embarrassment suffered her wrath. After one of her famous last-minute charity event cancellations (so that she could finish her lacquered biography in time for Christmas sales) even he became a target. She ordered Frank Bailey to do opposition research on this man, searching through sex offender and criminal files, telling Frank, “Find something. He must have something on him that we can use.”

After returning to Alaska from the McCain/Palin defeat, as Blind Allegiance so shockingly documents, Sarah did virtually nothing but attack enemies and work the national media for attention. She pledged to go only on Fox News because they were the only fair and balanced network. Even this week, when Frank Bailey courageously went on Sean Hannity’s show, Fox demonstrated how "fair and balanced" they were when Hannity, in a pique of his own defensiveness, asked Frank, "Okay, what would you ask Sarah if you were me?" Frank said, "Ask her why she broke campaign finance law and illegally coordinated with the Republican Governors Association during the campaign," an event painstakingly documented in our book. Not only did she illegally coordinate we prove, but she blatantly misrepresented that truth in her public statements. What did Sean Hannity do with this little exchange? He edited it out of the interview, and did not tell his viewers they were watching an edited tape he advertised on his website as “Sean battles Frank Bailey over his controversial book about Sarah Palin.” Yeah, Sean Hannity cut it clean out, but left his otherwise nonstop attacks, not allowing Frank to complete his sentences. Is this what journalism has become? Is that what Fox means when they claim to be fair and balanced? For what it is worth, Frank reported to me this morning that he may still be a Fox News conservative, but he is no longer a Sean Hannity conservative. That's progress.

I have long known that Palin's "religious conviction" was only truly felt when she was looking to God for some heavenly support, but at other times used simply to manipulate true believers into supporting her cause. She used her Wasilla congregation to trash opponent John Stein while running for the Mayor of Wasilla, manipulated the religious pro-life proponents to help her shoehorn her way onto the McCain ticket, and often calls on "prayer warriors" to seek divine protection on her behalf from media blow back that results from her ridiculous public statements.

However from everything I have heard about Frank Bailey, he truly IS a very religious person, and it was that shortcut into his heart that Palin used to seduce him into her camp. (Yes, her looks definitely played a part in that seduction as well. But I am not sure that Bailey was aware how much it did until much later on.)

And now poor Bailey is seeing first hand the kind of duplicitous behavior embraced by yet ANOTHER idol of his, Sean Hannity.  I have a feeling that due to these media experiences Frank is undergoing quite the "coming to Jesus moment" right before our eyes.

Which brings me to some good news.

I received confirmation yesterday that Frank IS willing to do an interview with me, and I hope to do that interview sometime next week.

Now before you all get your hopes up, let me tell you that I will NOT be asking if Bailey's opinion on babygate has changed.  As you all know if he were to suggest that his mind had been changed, and that Sarah did not give birth to Trig, it could very well damage his credibility and negatively impact his book sales.

However there are a number of questions about some of his observations that might give us a few more clues.  And there are also some behind the scenes stories that both Frank and I know that will lead to some very interesting new facts being revealed which might make this interview quite juicy indeed.

Anyhow that is currently planned for sometime next week.  If plans change, or for some reason Frank decides to bail, I will let you know.  But I have to say, after the brutal attack he suffered at the hands of Sean Hannity, he cannot be too worried about what I will do.

After all, I'm a nice guy. Right?

About those Palin books...

I just returned from visiting my local Barnes & Noble store where I was picking up a hard copy of Frank Bailey's book (There are a couple of intriguing pictures which did not show up on my Nook).

I became a little discouraged when it took me a long time to locate one, and when I did it was tucked almost completely out of sight in the political book section.

When I went to make my purchase I complained about how hard it was to find and asked why there was only the one. 

The nice lady behind the counter said, 'Oh we can't keep that one on the shelves."  She further told me that just as soon as they put them out on the display, they are bought up and they have to order more.

"To be honest," she said. "I am surprised you found that one."

I then decided to ask about Geoffrey's book and was told virtually the same information, however she did point to a display table that had about seven of his books still available for purchase.

I came away feeling very gratified that Alaskans were so interested in finally learning the unvarnished truth about the woman who had redefined our state in a fairly horrific manner to millions of people across the country.

Currently Bailey's book, Blind Allegiance to Sarah Palin is ranked number one in Amazon's  Bestsellers in State & Local Government, number five in the category of  Politics, and number twenty five in Memoirs.

Geoffrey Dunn's book, The Lies of Sarah Palin,  has suffered from a much less energetic publicity campaign than Frank Bailey's.  However it is, as of this post, number thirteen on Amazon's  Bestsellers in Political Leader Biographies category, and in the category of Bestsellers in Womens' Biographies it is currently ranked thirty one.

So as you can see despite the desperate attempts by the Palin media trolls to discredit them, these books are really doing pretty well.  Not only that, as Geoffrey Dunn recently pointed out in a phone conversation, these books are really ALL describing "the same person."  Whether it be Baily's book, Dunn's book, or even the book being written by Joe McGinniss, the main character will be easily recognizable from one book to another. (And the same can be said for the upcoming babygate book as well.)

That is the simple truth when revealing the actual facts about somebody.  No matter where those facts are laid out, whether in a book, a movie, a documentary, or even on a blog, that person will always be the same no matter from which angle they are being viewed.  Fake tan, fake glasses, herpes sores, and all.

It is only in the mythological realm where Palin WANTS people to learn about her, such as her book "Going Rogue," her ill fated reality television show, or this ridiculous movie, "The Undefeated," that facts become constantly mutating bits of protozoa, which tend to expand, stretch, or evolve depending through which medium they are observed.

And my friends that is exactly why Sarah Palin does not want to you to read these books, visit this blog, or see her interviewed by a real reporter.  The magic trick only works if you cannot see up the magicians sleeve or what is really happening behind the curtain, because once the smoke and mirrors are removed the magic is all but gone.

In other words Palin-bots, once you finally see Sister Sarah for who she really is, "Poof!" She will be no more.

Have you ever wondered WHY Sarah Palin relies so heavily on ghostwriters? Well the answer is in Frank Bailey's book.

In Bailey's book he reveals an attempt that Palin made to write a 675 word op-ed to the Anchorage Daily News entitled "Nonsensical Gas Agreement."

As it turned out "nonsensical" was the key word here.

The ADN editor, Larry Persily, must have thought that Palin had one of her daughters write it for her.

Larry Persily’s reply, after reading her draft, was blunt in its dismissal, despite Sarah’s insistence that she was good at writing in plain English:

Thanks for the op-ed column, but it will need some changes before we can publish it. As I have told all the candidates, we are not going to let anyone (incumbents or challengers) get by with easy political speeches on the page, especially on oil and gas issues.

The public deserves specifics, not just promises. So -- and nothing personal in any of this -- I've added my comments where appropriate to give you an idea of what would need to be added or explained before we could publish the piece...

Picking up with Persily's comments in an emasl exchange on Sarah's fourth point we read:

Sarah wrote: Fourth, the contract doesn’t ensure gas for in-state use.

Persily commented: (How do you propose to ensure in-state gas? Everyone is quick to promise in-state gas, and to attack the draft contract for being deficient in this area, but I'm not going to allow anyone to get by with more of the same promises. If you're going to raise the pledge of in-state gas, you will need to explain how you plan to fulfill that pledge.).

Further down, Sarah then wrote: As Cook Inlet supplies diminish, the concept of importing natural gas while ours goes to Canada is abhorrent.

Persily replied: (through Canada, not to Canada).

Sarah: Fifth, under this contract, if gas prices dropped to certain levels, we’d actually pay oil companies for the privilege of producing our gas while they reaped profits.

Persily: (Please explain. Yes, the state would have to pay the processing costs for its share of the gas, and the cost of removing and disposing of impurities, but we're talking around 50 cents per mcf. Do you expect gas prices to drop that low? And if gas prices were that low, and we lost money, how would the companies "reap profits"?)

Sarah: We assume more cost and risk than the oil companies do, including contributing our land and 7/8 of our gas to make the project happen. All told, our concessions could nearly equal the cost of the entire project, yet we’d only own 20% of it.

Persily: (How is any of this true? We would take 20% of the cost risk under the contract vs. 80% for the companies. How does that translate into the state taking on more cost and risk than the companies? And we didn't "contribute" our land, we leased it to the companies for a substantial upfront payment and royalty terms. And, if the project is $20 billion, what state "concessions" would nearly equal $20 billion?)

Sarah: Seventh, Administrators refuse to disclose details of negotiations with viable alternatives like TransCanada , MidAmerican, and the Alaska Gasline Port Authority.

Persily: (Not entirely true. The state eventually released most of the negotiation documents from its talks with MidAmerican. And there were no negotiations under the Stranded Gas Development Act with the Alaska Gasline Port Authority, just informal talks outside the Stranded Gas Act. This could easily be fixed by changing the allegation to a statement about the state has been less than fully honest about our projects, or something like that.)

Sarah: Eighth, the deal was the Administration was forced to propose sweeping legislation to amend the Stranded Gas Act to retroactively legalize their deal.

Persily: (Not quite "retroactively legalize their deal," since the Legislature has not approved the deal. It would be more accurate to say "to allow the deal to proceed under the law," or "to make the law match the deal.")

Sarah: Ironically, other viable alternatives projects were hypocritically rejected as ‘illegal under the Act.’

Persily: (What alternatives were called "illegal?" I'm not aware of any. The state did determine that the Alaska Gasline Port Authority does not qualify under the Stranded Gas Development Act, but not qualifying for a negotiated fiscal contract is not the same as "illegal.")

Sarah: Like other Alaskans, I crave a profitable gas line agreement. But it must pass Constitutional muster and be derived through a competitive process where all viable proposals are fairly and openly considered. My preferred alternative will first provide gas for energizing Alaska’s homes and businesses, employing Alaskans, and reducing rural energy costs.

Persily: (Again, how do you propose to ensure gas for Alaskans and how do you propose to guarantee Alaska hire? Local-hire requirements are unconstitutional, so if you're going to imply you have a way around that, you need to say how. And, as for ensuring gas for Alaskans, do you propose reserving a portion of the state's royalty gas and selling it to Alaskans at below-market prices? Whatever the answer is, you need to say what you have in mind.)

Sarah did not take rejection well. That her editorial didn’t accurately address the issues, misstated facts, and was devoid of proposals, was unimportant. The blame went to Persily and the Anchorage Daily News. She wrote back:

And THAT my friends is why Palin might be very, very reluctant to dump RAM despite her embarrassing tweets.

And that is only ONE of the amazing, and highly embarrassing revelations to be found in Frank Bailey's book.

After a day like today with so much Sarah Palin and Sean Hannity overload, you just need to take a shot of Cafferty. Jack Cafferty that is.

And did you hear what Jack said?  Geoffrey Dunn's book "ought to be required reading for anybody considering supporting a Presidential run by this woman."

I agree, because if you had even half of a brain, reading what is in that book should send you screaming into the arms of ANY other Republican candidate.

Have you ever wanted to reach through your computer screen and just throttle somebody? Well if you haven't you're about to now!

You know I wish I had been able to talk to Frank Bailey before he did this interview, because I would have told him to deal with Hannity in this way:

"Hey Shawn, I get it! In the beginning I was the guy assigned to viciously attack the messenger when Sarah Palin did not like the message.  I completely understand where  you are coming from, you have been given your directions and like a good dog you are jumping through the hoops provided for you.  You now have MY old job. But hey Shawn, it does not have to be this way! Look at me!  I am free of those bonds, and I can now tell the truth. Maybe someday you too will break your shackles and stand up to your corporate masters and Sarah Palin. After all everybody has to grow up someday, don't  you think?"

I wonder how far he would actually get into that response before they cut his microphone and the screen went black?

I LOVE that he was able to talk about Palin writing her own glowing letters to the editor and then convincing supporters to sign them. that was one of my favorite revelations from the leaked manuscript.

And just so you know I completely disagree with Bailey about Sarah being smart, and I don't think she read as much about Alaska business as he claims.  In fact the books she had delivered to her office were almost exclusively gossip and celebrity magazines like People and US.

Of course despite how he is being painted by the Palin-bots, Frank is a dyed-in-the wool Fox News loving, anti-choice promoting, red state conservative.

State of Alaska asking for more time to finish redacting information from Palin e-mails before releasing them. At least that is what I imagine must be going on.

In January, Attorney General John Burns granted an extension until May 31 with the "unequivocal expectation" that all records that aren't privileged would be released by then.

On Tuesday, Gov. Sean Parnell's deputy chief of staff, Randy Ruaro, told Burns that the review would be completed on time. But he said the logistics -- including copying and shipping -- will push the production and delivery of the emails past Tuesday. Ruaro says it could be June 10 before all records are shipped.

This is why I have been pimping Bailey's book so hard, and why I have never had much hope for this email release.

In the book the authors had access to many thousands of e-mails in their original state, with none of the important, and potentially devastating, information blacked out.

My feeling is that the Parnell administration is now worrying about having their e-mails come out full of redactions, only to be embarrassed by the possible release of Bailey's huge pile of e-mails, which would illustrate just what kind of self serving and petty things they felt should not be seen by the public.

By the way I think there are lots of things contained in them that current governor Sean Parnell does not want the Alaska people to see, which helps to explain why his administration is so resistant to the idea of releasing them to the public.

I am going to campaign for Bailey to release ALL of his e-mails.  I was told once that it was a possibility, and I hope I was not led astray.
