Reason #80 not to vote for Sarah Palin for anything

She endorsed Sharron Angle

Sharron takes her 2nd amendment rights to the extreme:

She is also a racist:

Thinks separation of church and state is illegal:

The "Curse of Palin" infects the office of Arizona Rep. Paul Gosar. Apparently Thomas Van Flein is a carrier.

"Could you hold that thought Congressman? My Sarah Palin emergency cell phone is ringing!"
Courtesy of Politico:

Staffing problems at the highest level of Arizona Rep. Paul Gosar’s office have thrown his operation into disarray — spurring a string of departures and prompting members of the congressman’s inner circle to reach out for help, internal emails obtained by POLITICO indicate.

“Gosar has serious congressional staff issues,” said one Arizona Republican familiar with the operation. “It’s a total cluster.”

The emails, written by former staffers while they were still on the payroll, implicate chief of staff Rob Robinson and legislative director Tom Van Flein as the heart of the problem.

Gosar’s decision to hire the pair after he was elected raised eyebrows from the beginning — both men had no prior congressional experience and both had close ties to Sarah Palin, who boosted Gosar’s campaign with an endorsement.

Gosar’s relationship with Robinson began long before his recent venture into politics. They met when both served on the American Dental Association’s government affairs council, and eventually grew so close, Robinson quit his Wasilla-based dental practice in 2009 to become Gosar’s chief adviser. Robinson got to know Palin during his time dabbling in Alaska politics and through Van Flein, who also counts as clients Palin and the Alaska Dental Society.

In January, Gosar assured those concerned about Robinson and Van Flein’s lack of political experience that he trusted both men and that their relationships with Palin wouldn’t affect his office. “When it comes to politics, it’s nice to be mired with Sarah Palin. But I’m Paul Gosar. I’m my own person,” he told Roll Call at the time.

In a lengthy message sent in late January by Gosar’s former communications director, Stefani Zimmerman describes Van Flein as disengaged and preoccupied with the former Alaska governor’s portfolio.

Zimmerman accused Van Flein — who remains one of Palin’s most trusted advisers — of spending office time on Palin and other clients. She also said he “relays information the staff discusses with each other to people like Sarah Palin” and “writes op-eds and speeches without permission, all from Sarah Palin’s point of view.”

In meetings, Zimmerman claimed, Van Flein “asks questions that would benefit Sarah, not Paul,” and “advises Paul from a tea party perspective, not Arizona 1st’s perspective.”

Zimmerman also charged that Van Flein, like Palin, “goes rogue, … takes meetings, advises Paul, etc., without telling anyone, including Rob.”

Go ahead and ask yourself if this comes as any surprise to you.

No, of course not. Because as we all know EVERYTHING Palin touches turns to shit.

You know on a personal note I just have to say how much I have missed "Tommy" Van Flein around here.

Why it seems like just yesterday he was desperately bailing like a one armed sailor while Joe Miller's Senate campaign sank into the inky blackness of Alaska politics. With experience and credentials like that you can imagine what an asset he must be to Paul Gosar.

I am almost embarrassed at how sentimental I become when I think back to  the days when Tommy would threaten to sue me on the Grizzled Mama's behalf (When we both knew he did not have the legal right nor sufficient set of balls to pull it off), or I would trick him into having brunch with me just to see the shocked look on his face.

But does he ever call?  Or even write?  Hell no.

Oh well I guess those carefree days of constant strife and "take no prisoners" warfare are all but gone now.

What can I say?  Alaska's loss is....well apparently now Arizona's loss.

It is interesting to note, by the way, that it now seems apparent that whenever somebody pisses Klondike Kardashian off that it makes Arizona Rep. Paul Gosar's ability to do his job grind to a standstill, since part of his staff is then preoccupied with helping her with damage control and soothing her ruffled feathers.

You know SOMEBODY in Arizona politics might take that information and use it for their benefit.

I am just saying.

Not that I had any respect left for Jay Leno, but after this pathetic Bristol Palin interview I kind of wish Conan O"Brien would find him in an alleyway and kick his ass. Is that wrong of me?

In my opinion the ONLY true host of the Tonight Show was the late, great Johnny Carson. (Steve Allen and Jack Paar were fine, but Carson was the king!)

Leno has never able to ever come close to filling that great man's shoes.

And this interview did almost as much to make me dislike him as when he threw Conan O'Brien under the bus to satisfy his need to feel relevant, and to feed his gigantic ego. (Gee who does THAT sound like?)

Part One:

Bristol does not waste one second before trotting out her first lie, this one being about why she had her chin done. (Bristol fails to mention that she had undergone procedures to have the fat sucked out to make her face look thinner a few times in the past. And when she says that it is NOT an implant, I don't think even Rickles buys that load of moosecrap.)

"I wanted to be candid in the book?" Really? Then why weren't you?

Quickly. of course, the slams against Levi begin. Essentially Bristol claims her parents never liked him, and knew he was no good.

The idea that Sarah never liked Levi is undoubtedly accurate, she really does not like anybody besides herself. But she DID have him to living in her house, and running errands for her. Not to mention that he was one of the VERY few people allowed in the hospital when Sarah "gave birth" to Trig.

That does not exactly sound like he was despised.
Leno asking Bristol about her mother running for President: "Is there any reason she SHOULDN'T run?"

Rickles: "Cause she could lose."

This inspires the crowd to erupt in wild applause, which clearly causes Bristol to become very uncomfortable.

Leno: "Do you want her to run?"

BP: "I think so, yeah." Careful Bristol you almost told the truth there.

Again Bristol's version of how she learned that her mother had been tapped as McCain's VP choice does not jive, in any way, with the version that Palin wrote in "Going Rogue." I think they are going to need another visit to the re-education camp family meeting.

Now the only intelligent remark that Leno makes during the interview is to say, after Bristol trots out the "lawsuits" excuse for why her mother quit as Governor (By the way , those were ethics charges, NOT lawsuits.), "That happens with every Governor. Everybody gets lawsuits, its all part of the job." (Again these were ETHICS CHARGES!) However Bristol has been trained well, and insists that her mother did it "for Alaska."

Bristol also says that her mother is not building a house in Arizona. I never heard that she was "building" one but I am unsure if Bristol was denying that she had purchased one or not. Because, you know,  THAT would be another lie, which good "Christian" girls should never tell. (Sorry I made myself choke laughing at that one.)

Part two:

Bristol talks about her reality show and Rickles provides the appropriate unimpressed response. ( I am beginning to warm up to Rickles, who keeps reaching over to touch Bristol's hand which is clearly freaking her out a little.)

Then Leno decides to attack Levi concerning his upcoming book by essentially saying he "dislikes this guy" because he divulges too much private information that the public does not need to know.

Now just absorb THAT for a moment.  Essentially Leno believes that LEVI is airing too much dirty laundry, as if HE was the one to accuse Bristol of getting him drunk and stealing his virginity. Apparently that giant head of Leno's is an "irony free" zone.

Fucking idiot!

Gabby Giffords receives standing ovation during first public appearance.

Wounded Arizona Rep. Gabrielle Giffords made her first Houston public appearance Monday night since being shot in the head in January by joining her husband, former astronaut Mark Kelly, at a Houston awards ceremony where he received the Spaceflight Medal.

Her communications director, C.J. Karamargin, confirmed her attendance, late Monday but could provide no further details.

According to a report from ABC News, Giffords was pushed into the auditorium in a wheelchair and received a standing ovation from the crowd of hundreds assembled at Space Center Houston.

Giffords reportedly rose from her wheelchair to hug and kiss her husband. The couple held hands for most of the event. The Arizona Democrat appeared to chat with people sitting around her, and laughed when the crew of STS-134, the Space Shuttle Endeavour’s last mission, was introduced, ABC reported.

Karamargin said he was not surprised his boss was out and about in Houston.

“You have to keep in mind that the congresswoman was just in Tuscon … for a Father’s Day visit. She met with the staff there and she climbed a flight of 18 stairs. I think it’s no surprise the congresswoman is getting out more and more … She’s showing greater physical strength, greater cognitive abilities and greater verbal skills, so it’s not a surprise.”

I don't know about all of you, but when I think of "steel spines" and "thick skins" THIS is the person who I picture.

Gabby Giffords is a true inspiration, and I am beginning to think that she might very well return to House someday and be a force to be reckoned with.

Bristol is renting her house out

From Hollywood Gossip

Just six months after dropping $172,000 in cash for a home in Arizona, and just weeks after Sarah Palin reportedly bought her own house in Arizona to keep tabs on her, Bristol Palin is peacing out of the Grand Canyon State.

Bristol's Maricopa, Az., pad is now for rent at $1,400/month if you're interested.

"Yes, it is for rent, but I have no further comment," Bristol Palin tells E! News.

Sarah's eldest daughter will be starring in a new reality show focusing on her making the move to L.A., where she and son Tripp will cohabitate with brothers Kyle and Christopher Massey and work at a charity.

Bristol is reportedly dating Kyle Massey and Sarah Palin is reportedly livid.
The five-bedroom, 3,900-SF pad she purchased back in December went on the market this week, said Nate Martinez of RE/MAX Professionals.

Like the mind of Sarah, it sounds like it's been empty for some time.

"She was living in it, I don't know how long, I didn't sell it to her," Martinez tells E! News. "When I listed the home it was already vacated."

Well, well, well!
Wonder if the money pipeline is drying up.   She's done with Candie's, other than her "reality show" with the Massey brothers and her book which I heard sales have been slow, makes me think she's running out of money.

All Michele Bachmann needs to do next is don a pair of Red Naughty Monkey Pumps and the transformation would be complete!

Courtesy of Media Decoder:

Representative Michele Bachmann of Minnesota has made a deal to publish her memoir, selling a book to Sentinel, a conservative imprint at Penguin Group USA, two people familiar with the negotiations said on Thursday.

Ms. Bachmann, a Tea Party favorite who announced her presidential candidacy during the Republican debate on Monday, has been shopping her memoir for weeks, meeting with several New York publishers to discuss a possible deal.

The book is tentatively expected to be released this fall. John Fund, a columnist for the Wall Street Journal, will assist with the writing of the book.

One person who saw Ms. Bachmann’s proposal said the book was largely biographical, an account of the formation of her political and economic ideas. Ms. Bachmann was “very impressive” in her meetings with publishers, winning over the skeptics in the room, the person said.

Look I know that people keep trying to poo poo the idea of Michele Bachmann being Sarah Palin's somewhat smarter sister, but come on!  All this woman needs is a husband who pimps out young women, a fake pregnancy, and a teen daughter who, after giving birth out of wedlock, was getting paid to talk about abstinence, and she would BE the Grizzled Mama!

By the way who buys these books? I mean after paying for Palin's bus tour, her new house in Arizona, and Bristol's brand new chin, aren't the Teabaggers just about bled dry by now?

Gabby Giffords goes home!

Courtesy of the LA Times:

Five months after falling victim to an assassin's bullet, Rep. Gabrielle Giffords was discharged from the Houston hospital where she has been rehabilitating.

Calling her release a "major milestone," the hospital, TIRR Memorial Hermann, said Giffords would continue to receive outpatient care at a home outside of Houston owned by her husband, Mark E. Kelly.

In a statement, her doctors said that the Arizona Democrat had improved to the point where she no longer needed to be a patient.

“Congresswoman Giffords has shown clear, continuous improvement from the moment she arrived at TIRR five months ago,” said Gerard Francisco, the hospital’s chief medical officer. “We are very excited that she has reached the next phase of her rehabilitation and can begin outpatient treatment. We have no doubt that she will continue to make significant strides in her recovery.”

Kelly, an astronaut who recently completed a mission aboard the space shuttle Endeavour, praised the care that Giffords received.

“Gabby gives her all to everything she does and that’s exactly what she’s been doing at TIRR since Jan. 26,” he said. “The remarkable progress she has made since then is a testament to both her single-minded determination to get better and the team of medical professionals overseeing her care.”

Am I the only one who gets misty eyed every time I read anything about this amazing woman's courage and amazing recovery?  I swear I have to dab my eyes after every other paragraph.

The ONLY reason I would ever consider going to Arizona would be to help with Giffords campaign for reelection. And believe me, she would win to.

Heading to Arizona? Need a place to stay? Call Bristol Palin at...wait...what?

Courtesy of AZ Central.com:

Bristol Palin's metro Phoenix home is for rent. Asking price $1,400 a month.

The daughter of former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin purchased the home in the city of Maricopa for $172,000 earlier this year.

Bristol's mother Sarah bought a north Scottsdale home for nearly $1.7 million in May. Maybe Bristol plans to spend more time at her mom's house, which is about an hour drive from Maricopa in the far southeast Valley. Plus Sarah Palin's house has a nicer kitchen and swimming pool.

Bristol's home has two-and-a-half bathrooms, five bedrooms, a three-car garage but no swimming pool. It was built in 2005.

Daughter Palin, well-known for her stint Dancing with the Stars, has her home listed on the Arizona Regional Multiple Listing Service.

No animals allowed in the rental, unless they are assistive for handicapped individuals.

Well now, isn't THIS interesting news?

Of course it could just be because Bristol is about to start her reality show with the Massey brothers and is not going to be spending very much time in Arizona. But in that case you would assume she would still want to keep it available for visits, and would NOT want strangers in her home unless she was planning on being away for at least six months, or even a few years.

Or perhaps that was the plan all along, to buy this place as a future rental and only live there until her mother could finally get HER place, and then move in with her.

Whatever the answer you KNOW that is will be the opposite of whatever the Palins say it is.

Gabby Giffords making progress

Gabby's staff just released this photo of her:

She is doing better than she was five months ago but still has a long recovery.

From ABC News

Rep Gabriele Giffords , bright eyes peering out from behind blue wire-framed glasses, looks radiant in a recently released Facebook photo. But experts say her half-tilt smile suggests her recovery from a gunshot wound to the head will be complex.

The Arizona congresswoman has astounded all her doctors, climbing stairs recently to board a plane for Florida to watch her husband, astronaut Mark E. Kelly, at the launch of the shuttle Endeavour and responding to her family and caregivers.

Now, as Giffords prepares to leave TIRR Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston, Texas, to begin her long-term rehabilitation, brain injury experts say public hopes for a return to the House may be unrealistic.

"If I had to guess, I would expect her to have some deficiencies for the rest of her life," said Dr. Anand Germanwala, chief of cerebral vascular and skull-based neurosurgery at the University of North Carolina Medical School. "The brain is a very unforgiving organ.

"I certainly wish her all the best and hope she has complete recovery -- it is possible," he said. "But realistically thinking, this is a young lady in a high profile job, well-educated and eloquent. That requires a lot of brain tasks to successfully execute the job. To expect that now, it's not fair."

Her husband, who has been the most consistent optimist, admits the road back is "months not weeks away."

Gabby is certainly in my thoughts and prayers.  I hope she can make a complete recovery for herself and the nation.  I hope she will be well enough to defend her Congressional seat or perhaps runs for Jon Kyl's Senate seat when he retires.  Now wouldn't that be a stick in Sarah and Jared Loughner's craw?

New pictures emerge of Rep. Gabby Giffords.

Courtesy of the Daily Beast:

A much clearer picture has emerged of how Arizona Rep. Gabrielle Giffords is doing, and it's a comforting look. Two photos of a smiling Giffords were posted early Sunday on her public Facebook page by her aides. Her hair is shorter, but there are few other signs of her gunshot wound to the head five months ago in Tucson. Giffords has been in a Houston rehab facility since Jan. 26, two weeks after the deadly shooting that killed six and injured another 13, including Giffords. Her spokeswoman, Pia Carusone, cautioned that Giffords still has a long way to go in her recovery, but she said Friday that Giffords could be released sometime this month.

I have to say that this is a very pleasant sight this Sunday morning.

You can find an additional picture here of Giffords with her mother.

Arizona Wildfires

The wildfires in Arizona have now covered 600 square miles.  It makes me wonder if God is punishing AZ for the Giffords shooting and Sarah buying a home there.  Also it is home to Jan Brewer and Joe Arpaio.  Just a thought.

Time for an update on Gabby Giffords progress.

Courtesy of AZ Central:

Pia Carusone knew the day would come when the questions about her boss, Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, would become more indelicate.

After answering some of those questions, Carusone, Giffords' chief of staff, told me: "We want to give people a clear picture (about Giffords). It's not in anyone's interest to have anyone feel misled. But it's hard because we satisfy one person and one set of questions, and tomorrow, we're on to the next. The feeling is like it's never enough."

For example, how well is she able to communicate with them?

"We do a lot of inferring with her because her communication skills have been impacted the most," Carusone said. "If you think of it as someone who is able to communicate with you clearly, it is easy to test them. You can ask them a series of questions, and you can get clear answers back. Whereas with Gabby, what we've been able to infer and what we believe is that her comprehension is very good. I don't know about percentage-wise or not, but it's close to normal, if not normal."

Does her struggle to communicate mean that she's not using complete sentences?

"Exactly," Carusone said. "She is borrowing upon other ways of communicating. Her words are back more and more now, but she's still using facial expressions as a way to express. Pointing. Gesturing. Add it all together, and she's able to express the basics of what she wants or needs. But, when it comes to a bigger and more complex thought that requires words, that's where she's had the trouble."

Is that frustrating for her?

"Absolutely," Carusone said. "When she is trying to come up with a word or a sentence and she's clearly struggling, putting everything she's got into it, and sometimes she's not successful. When she is, there's a relief that comes across her face that she has found the word. But when she can't come up with that, it is absolute frustration."

This is only a small portion of the article and I encourage everybody to read it if they want to learn more about this truly heroic woman.

While it does not appear that Rep. Giffords will return to Washington anytime soon, nobody is prepared to dismiss that possibility.  This is truly a remarkable women who suffered a horrific injury that in most cases would have turned the victim into a vegetable.  Just the fact that she has managed to come so far in such a short amount of time is amazing. However hoping for her to return to her job in Washington might be nothing more than a pipe dream.

But then again, this IS Gabby Giffords we are talking about!

GOP to Palin: "Thanks, but no thanks!" Update!

From Slate:

Taken after the Palin bus tour started rolling, it (A new CBS News poll) asked Republicans whether Palin should run. By a 20-point margin (54 percent to 34 percent), Republicans said she should not run. Among Tea Party supporters, where Palin has her strongest following, she is also waved off against a run. Half say she should not run; 38 percent say she should. That isn't so much a referendum on her bus tour as it is a sign that the entire months-long Palin flirtation with the presidency is not creating an appetite.

The biggest challenge to a Palin candidacy has always been that her image within her own party has been getting worse. (If she can't improve among her friends, she isn't going to improve in the wider circle of voters). Some 36 percent of Republican voters have an unfavorable view of her, compared with the 37 percent that have a favorable view. Her favorability rating has declined since April.

Why? Some of the reluctance may be that voters don't think Palin is qualified. Almost two of five Republicans say this in a recent Washington Post poll. Interviews suggest some who really like Palin think she'll never get a fair shake from the media, making the presidential race a distracting nightmare. Others cite her poll numbers in the general electorate, where her unfavorable numbers are at toxic heights.

What is becoming clearer, and clearer as time goes on, is that Palin is perfectly capable of fooling the low hanging fruit who believe she is ordained by God to be our President,  but she can no longer fool the real political insiders, journalists, and Republican hierarchy into allowing her anywhere near the GOP ticket.

Right now the GOP may be afraid to say that on the record, for fear of losing support from her crazed followers too early, but ultimately she will come up against a triple padlocked door that she cannot simply "barge right through."

They were caught with their flies open, their hands down their pants, and drool hanging off of their bottom lip the last time. But this time when they see her, their pants are buttoned up tight, and their hands are as far from their junk as possible.  She will NOT be using that winky, blinky, look at me but don't touch, bullshit to fool them again.

After all this is a woman who is too ignorant to even purchase a house in Arizona without getting ripped off.

“If fundamental property principles still matter in this country, Sarah Palin may have legal issues that could affect the ownership of her home,” he said in the statement. “Through no fault of her own, Sarah Palin has become a victim like thousands of others across the country that have the same problem with their chain of title.”

Is that REALLY the type of person that anybody is going to trust to deal with the complex, and possibly overwhelming problems facing this country?

Yeah, I didn't think so.

She has always been a joke.  But now the joke is on the people who still send their hard earned money to SarahPAC, in the desperate hope that everything they are learning about her cannot possibly be true, and NOT on the entire Republican party. Of course, as we all know, there are still plenty of jokes within in the Republican party. (Hi Michele Bachmann!)

(BTW I have submitted my name to help the Washington Post go through the Palin e-mails tomorrow, and every other day after that.  Here's hoping I get chosen to help, because I would dearly LOVE to be the one to find the really devastating e-mail that puts the final nail in this woman's political coffin.)

Update: It looks like the Washington Post is asking for ALL of our help.

UPDATE: We have had a strong response to our crowdsourcing call-out on the Palin e-mails. We've reconsidered our approach and now would like to invite comments and annotations from any interested readers.

Here’s how to participate:Over 24,000 e-mail messages to and from Sarah Palin during her tenure as Alaska's governor will be released Friday . We’ll be posting them here, and are inviting you to comment on the most interesting or most noteworthy sections. Please include page numbers and, where possible, a direct excerpt. We'll share your comments with our reporters and may use facts or related material you suggest to annotate the documents displayed on The Post site. We may contact you for further details, by way of your registered e-mail with the Post, unless you specify otherwise in the comments.

Alaska Senator Mark Begich to Sarah Palin: "Someone who quit Alaska is not someone I look for to get Alaska policy decisions on."

Courtesy of Politico:

Sen. Mark Begich is turning a deaf ear to Sarah Palin's demand that he make drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge a condition for his vote to approve raising the nation's debt ceiling.

"She's not really on my radar screen to take advice from," the Alaska Democrat told reporters Tuesday.

"Let me put it this way. It's always interesting to read what she has to say," Begich said. But, he added, "Someone who quit Alaska is not someone I look for to get Alaska policy decisions on."

In discussing the debt ceiling vote on "Fox News Sunday," Palin said: "How about people like Sen. Begich, a Democrat from Alaska. He better get ANWR in this bill, opening another domestic source of energy up there in Alaska when he votes yes for increasing the debt ceiling."

Begich, a supporter of drilling in ANWR and the Chukchi Sea, suggested that Palin look to persuade her fellow running mate Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) to open ANWR to drilling.

"I would encourage her to talk to her senator because our senators, me and [Lisa] Murkowski, already aligned on this," he said. "I know she's talked to McCain, who is her new senator where she lives. He hasn't supported [drilling in] ANWR in the past, hope he will."

I have not had as lot of reasons to feel the desire to give my senator a high five lately, but this response definitely deserves several high fives, and an "atta boy" as far as I am concerned.

And Begich is ABSOLUTELY correct that Sarah Palin has essentially abandoned Alaska, and has NO right to tell OUR Senator how he should vote.

However I completely support her calling up John McCain and giving him a piece of her tiny, insignificant mind. And I also support HIM telling her to FUCK OFF!

Which by the way, I am almost CERTAIN he is dying to do.

First review of Palin movie "The Undefeated" is in. Might want to take that"Un" off of the title.

From the New York Post:

“It’s rated X,” the director of the new Sarah Palin movie informs me as I sit down for an early screening of the biopic “The Undefeated.” I don’t know how I feel about this information. But I’m the first movie critic to see the film, so I sit back uneasily and hope I don’t have to witness any shower scenes starring John McCain.

The two-hour Palin movie, which writer-director Stephen Bannon plans to show in Iowa in a “Field of Dreams”-style cornfield, is getting a lot of attention as the former Alaska governor tours the East Coast.

Bannon promised the blog Big Hollywood, “This will go off like an atomic bomb” in the Republican primary season. Palin herself, Bannon says, gave the movie a big thumbs-up, though she didn’t participate in the making of the $1 million film. She appears in it only in news clips and is heard in audiobook clips from her memoir “Going Rogue.”

While Palin draws an audience, backstage nothing is plugged in. She hasn’t hired the hacks and flacks pols need to run a campaign and has given no sign she is interested in giving up her Fox News contract.

These days Thomas Jefferson couldn’t get elected on name recognition alone, and while Palin may be her own breed, she knows that.

Moreover, “The Undefeated,” far from shaking up the race, is just a fan film from an outsider hitching a ride on her fame, hoping that attention from political reporters in the early primary states of Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina will provide a springboard for a national release.

This would-be “Fairbanks 9/11” certainly blazes with passion — hosannas of awe for Palin, brimstone of scorn for her detractors (especially Matt Damon, standup comics and anonymous commenters who say mean things on blogs).

But its tone is an excruciating combination of bombast and whining, it’s so outlandishly partisan that it makes Richard Nixon look like Abraham Lincoln and its febrile rush of images — not excluding earthquakes, car wrecks, volcanic eruption and attacking Rottweilers — reminded me of the brainwash movie Alex is forced to sit through in “A Clockwork Orange.” Except no one came along to refresh my pupils with eyedrops.

Not much of a surprise here.  Palin is essentially marketing herself to the same small group of zealous acolytes, the very ones who watched her crappy un-reality show, through a different medium in the hopes they will be inspired to dive under those sofa cushions one more time to find, and send her, just a little more of their hard earned money before she is forced to pull her version of a Donald Trump and pack up her traveling sideshow and head on back home to Arizona.

That's right, Arizona.  I don't think that Palin has ANY desire to return to Alaska.  And I have to say the feeling is mutual.

Update: By the way, the New York Post is owned by Rupert Murdoch.

The same Rupert Murdoch who owns Fox News.

If THIS is the kind of reception Palin's propaganda piece receives there, one can only imagine how poorly it will be received by other critics, who are NOT paid by the same guy who put Sarah Palin on their payroll.

Another Palin sighting in Arizona.

Finally! Something on her bus that truthfully represents the Sarah Palin we all know, and loathe.

Friday, June 3, 2011

Palin goes home...to Arizona. Giant sigh of relief heard in Alaska.

Well she finally admitted that she bought property in Arizona, and it looks like she had to cut her tour short because her last remaining political prop, Piper, has had flippin' enough!

You know according to the book Game Change, Palin was completley unable to function without having at least one of her kids around.  My guess is that if Piper refuses to back on this ridiculous tour, or Palin cannot bribe another one to take her place, this thing is One Nation fiasco is kaput!

Reason #64 not vote for Sarah Paln for anything

She is buddies with Joe Arpaio who is known as "America's toughest sheriff".  However he is also a corrupt bastard.

Jared Loughner deemed mentally unfit to stand trial.

From the LA Times:

A federal judge ruled Jared Lee Loughner mentally incompetent to stand trial in the Jan. 8 shooting spree that gravely wounded an Arizona congresswoman after two medical experts agreed he suffered from schizophrenia and for several years has been troubled by delusions and hallucinations.

Judge Larry A. Burns sent Loughner back to the federal medical center for prisoners in Springfield, Mo., for treatment and further evaluation, stopping for now any attempt to take him to trial for the shooting that killed six people and injured 12 others at Rep. Gabrielle Giffords' neighborhood meeting.

Without any change in his condition, Loughner could spend the rest of his life in federal mental health facilities. But if he shows some signs of improvement, his case could go forward.

The ruling came after U.S. marshals removed Loughner from the courtroom Wednesday when he suddenly started screaming. His father, Randy Loughner, sat in the second row next to Loughner's mother and cried almost the entire time.

Court staff variously reported him saying "thank you for the free kill" or "free shot," and then, "she died in front of me," and "you're treasonous." A government source said Loughner is convinced he killed Giffords, and that "she died in front of me" apparently refers to that belief.

When asked later whether he could behave in court, Loughner told Burns that he would prefer to watch the proceedings on a closed-circuit television screen in a courtroom anteroom, where he remained for the rest of the hearing.

Too mentally unstable to sit in a court room, but NOT too mentally unstable to buy a Glock with an extended clip in Arizona.

How can ANYBODY read that and NOT believe that we need much, much, much stricter gun control laws in this country?

Reason #61 not to vote for Sarah Palin for anything

She is a shameless opportunist who promoted Alaska in her reality show and now is moving to Arizona.

From Rightspeak

arlier this year, Politico reported that Sarah Palin would base her campaign in Scottsdale, AZ if she were to run for the GOP nomination. SarahPac Treasurer, Tim Crawford responded by email with the following comment.

"There has been no decision about where a campaign would be based."

Note the lack of a denial in Crawford's statement. AZ Central is now reporting that the Palins have likely purchased a home in Scottsdale. The Palins have yet to confirm or deny the reports. However, a commenter (nederlandbill) at Conservatives4Palin had the following to say about the news.

"I did the mortgage on a property 2 homes away and owner says she saw the Palins looking at the home."

This means she is definitely running.  I know Sarah has been wanting to ditch AK for a long time, she has bled them dry, everyone up there hates her and her family, she has burned all her bridges.  I'm sure she will keep her AK residency so she will not have to pay AZ state income tax, which is typical of a Republicunt like her.
