No longer a conspiracy theory, "Babygate" is real! And the pictures of Sarah Palin from March 26, 2008 prove it! Update!

My good friend Audrey once referred to this picture as "The Nail in the Coffin." Because in her mind and the mind of many others, it proved without a doubt that Palin could simply NOT have been 32 weeks pregnant when the photo was taken.

But for some reason it never quite proved enough for some people.

Perhaps these pictures taken on the very same day, as Palin was leaving the museum, will finally convert the unbelievers.

(Click the thumbnails to see the high resolution images.)

This was written as a description below the photographs:

March 26, 2008, Juneau, Alaska, USA: In April 2011, Professor Bradford Scharlott at Northern Kentucky University wrote an academic paper stating that the "conspiracy theory" suggesting Palin is not Trig's mother is likely true and the American media is pathetic for not pursuing the story more aggressively. Scharlott walks through all of the evidence supporting the theory in the article, suggesting Trig is actually Palin's grandson. The article discusses photos of Palin in what is said to have been a late-stage pregnancy, the leisurely 20-hour trip home that Palin took after she supposedly went into labor in Texas, the refusal of the hospital where Trig was supposedly born to even confirm that he was born there (let alone who was the mother), strange statements from Palin's doctor and the McCain campaign, and so on. Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin exits the Alaska State Museum with her husband Todd after a bill signing ceremony. Palin announced 3-weeks prior that she was 7-months pregnant with her fifth child.

And the photos were further authenticated during a discussion with the AP photographer Brian Wallace on July 31, 2011.

Here is a close up of Palin's supposedly seven month pregnant belly.

And as if that were not enough, let us not forget that only a little over two weeks later that THIS is what Sarah Palin managed to look like on a KTUU broadcast on April 13, 2008.

Here is the video of the interview to allow further scrutiny.

(I need to give a HUGE hat tip to Laura Novak who made the initial call to Polaris images and got the information that we needed to purchase these images.  Thank you Laura.)

Update: There are apparently a couple of visitors who are being purposefully obtuse and asking how these pictures prove anything, as if they were the sum total of the evidence available to prove that Sarah Palin did not give birth.  Of course they could not be more incorrect.

Let me provide just a few examples and the rest you can find using a tool I like to call "Google."

1) The Sarah Palin pregnancy. What are the odds?

And for thsoe who are looking for an eyewitness Palin's lack of a pregnant belly.

2) Exclusive! My interview with Shailey Tripp.

And for those brave souls who REALLY want to find out how convoluted this fraud was.

2) A Tale of Two Babies by Sarah Palin.

As promised here is the update on the long awaited book about Sarah Palin's faked pregnancy, and the culpability of the American press for not revealing the deception.

Just smile Todd. Trust me, NOBODY will ever figure out what we did.
Thank you for patiently waiting through the weekend for this update.  With no further ado, I will let Fred fill you in on the book's progress and just when we can expect to see it in our local bookstores.

The book is nearly finished, and large sections of the book were turned into our publisher's legal department in late June. We are still shooting for a release date within the next four - six weeks.

However, there have been some hold-ups, and I'll share the status of that now. I noticed that after Gryphen kindly posted my request for title ideas back in May, many people asked if there were going to be any great new revelations in the book. Would we finally have the answer? At the time, the answer to that was - honestly - no.

My original hope for the book was to, first, present, in one place, an iron clad summary of the material that have been collected by multiple researchers that Sarah Palin's pregnancy with Trig was not as presented to the public in March and April of 2008. One way that the mainstream media has been able to ignore the story is that the bits and pieces have been scattered on multiple blogs and websites, and presented piecemeal. Each piece, then, is argued about and ignored individually. The weight of the story, however, when presented as a coherent whole, becomes overwhelming. Crafting this "coherent whole" was and continues to be a very difficult job. For example, there are actually about fifty separate photos from the time frame of March 4th through April 18th that are relevant to the story, and tough decisions had to be made about what material to put in the book and what to leave out, since we simply cannot use it all. The main market for the book is going to be those who know almost nothing of the story. Too little evidence and the story falls flat. Too much and the main point - that the media ignored terribly glaring inconsistencies in multiple areas - gets lost.

Secondly, the thrust of the book was to show how and why the mainstream media first during the campaign and second, since, have ignored the story

The "smoking gun" was the presentation of all the material together in such a way that the weight of the evidence made the idea that she had faked the pregnancy plausible beyond any reasonable doubt. As I am an attorney, the reasonable doubt angle is one that I explored a great deal in the chapters on the pregnancy evidence. This was, as I said, the original plan for the book.

Then, on June 10th, thousands of pages of Palin's emails were released. Within 24-48 hours, the Palin apologists were shouting, "There's nothing to see here!" and encouraging everyone to move on, even though no one could possibly have read even a fraction of the mail in that time.

One extraordinarily interesting discrepancy was pointed out by Gryphen in his blog on June 13th, when he shared the enormous disconnect of Palin sending herself a draft copy of the letter she intended to release to friends and family after the baby was born. This letter was sent six weeks before Palin's announced due date and eleven days before the child's announced "birth." Numerous other media outlets had already commented on the letter, most taking the position that it actually "proved" Sarah Palin was Trig's mother, with none noticing the eye-popping discrepancy that she referred to her pregnancy in the past tense and as "easy" when she still supposedly had six weeks to go.

This discovery led me to believe that there was "plenty to see here." I put any new writing and editing on hold as I, with the help of two very dedicated research helpers, have pored over emails. Our persistence has paid off. The bread crumbs are tiny (more like crumbs of crumbs), but the trail is there. No, of course there is no email stating, "I woke up this morning and decided to fake a pregnancy." If there were, it would have been found weeks ago and the story would be over.

But, as any good Catholic school-boy knows, there are sins of commission, and sins of omission.

Those who spent months (paid for by the state of Alaska) redacting Sarah Palin's emails likely pulled out a lot of "commissions," but they missed the omissions, because they could not possibly know what to look for. We did. I can now tell you with confidence that there will be new material in the book. After almost three years, there is more to find...

I'm sorry that all of you who have been waiting for the book will have to wait a bit longer. Prior to the release of the emails, I believed that an August 15th release date for the book was realistic. Now, I am working terribly hard to make this all come together by September 1.

Also, for all who are wondering about a title, we have made a decision, but are not yet releasing it.

For those who have been asking if there is a connection between the Oslo terrorist and Sarah Palin, your wish is my command.

In a revelation that should come as no surprise to most of us, Norway terrorist Anders Behring Breivik, is a fan of the American Tea Party, in particular crazed anti-Muslim firebrand Pamela Gellar.

Breivik was a fan of Tea Party darling Pamela Geller's rabid, anti-Islam website Atlas Shrugs, and made frequent comments there. Indeed Breivik's irrational fear and hatred of Islam and marxism, coupled with his Christian fundamentalism, makes him an ideological twin to many of the most dangerous members of the American Tea Party.

For those who were unaware, Gellar has a vicious, anti-Muslim website called Atlas Shrugs, and she is also on the national Advisory Committee of Jews for Sarah:

JewsForSarah is proud to have the dynamic Madame Geller as a member of our national Advisory Board.

Here is Gellar defending her idol on Canadia TV earlier this year.

Yesterday Gellar quickly put up a post condemning Breivak's murderous rampage and quickly going on the defensive:

According to this report, he started planning this attack nine years ago. I wasn't blogging back then.

Gellar misses the point.  It does not matter if the initial spark for his Muslim hatred did not come from the American Tea Party, Sarah Palin, or Gellar herself, there is increasing evidence that their rhetoric added fuel to inflame his hate until he could not longer take it and felt the time was right to act.

And as movie critic Roger Ebert pointed out in his review of "The Undefeated":

"The Undefeated" takes opposition to the Democratic party for granted, and focuses on Republicans and establishment conservatives, who should apparently share the blame. It praises only the Tea Party, and assigns credit to Palin for Tea Party victories in the 2010 elections. As Palin continues to prolong her entry into this year's GOP Presidential primaries, one wonders if Stephen K. Bannon has his money on a third-party bid by Palin as a Tea Party candidate. I suspect that's where his heart lies.

I myself have seen no evidence that Adolph Hitler ever personally murdered a Jew, but whose name is forever linked to the extinction of six million Jewish people?

So to date Sarah Palin placing a bullseye over Gabrielle Gifford's district had NOTHING to do with her being shot, her hate filled rhetoric during the McCain campaign had NOTHING to do with the insane number of death threats against our President, and her participation in the anti-Muslim hate speech coming from the Tea Party had NOTHING to do with what happened in Oslo, Norway.  Is that what we are supposed to believe?

That is quite a number of coincidences, and what is it that Palin believes about coincidences again?

“There are no coincidences” is a favorite maxim.

I could not have said it better myself.

(I would like to give a hat tip to the anonymous commenter who sent me some of the links I used in this post.  Thank you very much for your help.)

Nick Broomfield's documentary might make it virtually impossible for Sarah Palin to weave her web of lies ever again.

I kind of hesitated to weigh in on Nick's film, mainly because I had promised not to let the cat out of the bag..

And as all of you know once I make such a promise, I NEVER break it.

However, now that EVERYBODY is talking about it, I guess the cat has officially escaped the bag.

First I will let the Guardian describe for you just who Nick Broomfield is, and why Sarah Palin should be pooping cinder blocks.

He's tackled Kurt Cobain, Biggie Smalls, Tupac Shakur and Heidi Fleiss. Now British documentary-maker Nick Broomfield has turned his attention to Sarah Palin, darling of the American right and potential candidate for a US presidential run next year.

Broomfield's as-yet-untitled film reportedly offers a critical examination of the former US Republican vice presidential candidate via interviews with her parents, friends and ex-colleagues from his subject's time as governor of Alaska.

Broomfield is known for working with minimal crew, often in a "gonzo" reporting style. His Palin film is the film-maker's first documentary feature since 2006's His Big White Self, about the South African far-right leader Eugene Terre'Blanche, which was screened on More4. The film-maker's two most recent features, 2006's Ghosts and 2007's Battle for Haditha, adopted a docudrama approach, using untrained actors to play themselves in dramatic roles.

Broomfield's films have attracted controversy in the past. An interview with Courtney Love, ex-partner of the late Nirvana singer Kurt Cobain, for the documentary Kurt and Courtney, was so damning that Love successfully campaigned for the movie to be removed from the lineup for the 1998 Sundance film festival. A version was eventually screened in cinemas without any of Nirvana's music, after Love refused to allow it to be used.

Essentially Nick turns the harsh light of reality on his subject, and cuts right through the carefully constructed media facade that they hide behind.  Which of course is the very thing that Sarah Palin fears the most.

This is what Sarah Jones of Politicususa had to say about Broomfield:

Derek Malcolm of the Guardian once said of Nick, “If Broomfield took up wedding photography, the divorce rate would be even higher.” This is not the man you want helming a documentary of you if you are hiding under a perilously constructed myth.

Peabody winner Broomfield also holds numerous other prestigious awards, from First Prize at Sundance to a 2006 Bafta Award for his contribution to the documentary genre. If that doesn’t impress you, Broomfield’s filmography includes “Aileen Wuronos: The Selling of a Serial Killer”, “Biggie & Tupac” and “Kurt & Courtney”.

I’ve already heard that Broomfield exposes Palin for who she is, and that is not a good thing for Sarah Palin. The truth may even shock average Americans who don’t follow politics.

Now since I am still honoring my promise to Nick I can only share a few innocuous things with you about what I know of the film.

I know that Nick interviewed a lot of the main players in Palin's political life.. A LOT of them!

I know that he attempted several times to interview Sarah Palin herself, but I am not sure that he was ever successful.

Nick and his crew interviewed me a number of times as well, in a number of different locations, including the office in my home while I was blogging. So you can imagine how exciting THAT footage must be to see on film!
Nick also managed to make it to a number of Palin's book signings (Including one you might have already read about), and speeches all across the country.

Hint: One of these hands might belong to a British filmmaker.

I cannot say definitively how the documentary will treat Sarah Palin.  I do know that Nick wanted to be as fair as possible, and to get a well rounded vision of who she was by interviewing people who liked her, as well as people who actually know her. (That is a little snark for my English friends.)

I believe I can also share that Nick was very thorough in his research and did check into some of the scandalous stories about the Palins, as well as to conduct interviews with people who had grown up with her, worked with her, or had been impacted by her in one way or another.

Personally I think this film has the potential of impacting the Palin mythology in a way that the books may not be able to do, in that it is a visual medium which does not require the ability to read.  Even the simplest of Palin loving simpletons should be able to understand the moving pictures well enough to finally realize that their Queen is in actuality the Court Jester.

Okay maybe I DO have some idea of how this documentary will treat Sarah Palin. After all it is attempting to show the REAL Sarah Palin, and we all know how unflattering reality is to the Grizzled Mama, now don't we?

An interesting photo from Frank Bailey's book.

Until today I did not realize that a picture existed of the exact moment that Sarah Palin was e-mailing Frank Bailey in a desperate attempt to find out the name of the person who had just interviewed her.

That person in fact, was ME.

Here is the interview, for those who have never seen it.

What happened next I covered in my post titled The Bloggers and the Barracuda or A funny thing happened on my way to Wasilla.

We finished packing things up, thanked her for the interview, and exited the building to load up the car. After we finished I left Dennis outside with the equipment and went inside to get my friends and tell them that we were ready to hit the road.

When I located them in the sports center one of my friends asked “Did you see her?”
“See who?” I asked warily.

“Sarah Palin! When you left she handed Trig to Piper and charged across the middle of the basketball court in hot pursuit of you guys!”

Uh oh!

As we walked toward the exit we kept our eyes peeled, but did not see any sign of the Governor, so I figured that maybe it was no big deal and that she had given up and decided to rejoin her kids on the basketball court.

However when I climbed into the car I asked Dennis if HE had seen Palin.

“Oh yeah” he said. “She came out with a notebook and wrote down your license plate number.”

Apparently right before she stormed after us she was frantically e-mailing Frank Bailey, which was why moments after we drove away he would call Dennis Zaki's phone and try repeatedly to find out just who had interviewed the Governor. I was still anonymous in those days so he did not get an answer.

For some reason the incident was not mentioned in the book, but there is no doubt that the picture is from that day.

You can read the rest of the story, and discover how I think she DID find out who I was, by clicking the link above.

Desperate conservative blogger predicts Sarah Palin will announce her candidacy next week. Palin quickly crushes rumor.

From the American Spectator:

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is expected within a week to make a decision on whether to enter the 2012 presidential campaign, according to one Republican source.

Vendors of campaign services who hope to work for Team Palin have been told that Palin, the 2008 GOP vice-presidential candidate, will decide soon one way or another on mounting a 2012 campaign.

This is clearly wishful thinking on this blogger's apart, and Granny Grifter was quick to put him in his place. (Which by the way is under her heel.)

Really? Hmm, guess they forgot to inform me what I'm "expected to do" next wk MT@AmSpec: Palin Decision Expected Next Wk http://t.co/Ewt2Miq
6 hours ago via Twitter for BlackBerry®

This compelled the now publicly humiliated Palin pantie sniffer to whine in response:

OK, fine, governor, but I was reporting what my source had been told. Has my source been misinformed?

By the way this slimy little punk is one of the blogging Palin-bots that Sarah and her attorney Thomas Van Flein sent against me back in 2009, and he was so thoroughly inept that he and his buddy Dan Riehl ended up inventing a whole bizarre conspiracy about my background that was so completely removed from reality that I STILL have no idea how they came up with it.  I am not at all surprised to see that he still can't find his own ass with both hands and a road map.

My prediction is that this kind of disappointing news will keep coming out of the Palin camp until the Winged Monkeys start cannibalizing each other in a frenzy of frustration, devouring the weaker ones, until there is only a handful of angry, spiteful, though surprisingly plump, supporters left.

And the really funny thing is that Palin has every intention of dragging this thing out past the 2012 election and into the future until the very last battered and bruised Palin sycophant loses their grip on the bumper of her speeding "All about me" tour bus and bounces lifelessly into a nearby ditch.

By the way if you go back and check those ditches now, THAT is where you will  find what remains of "Number one Palin-fan" Rebecca Monsour, after her unfortunate fall from grace

Is "Babygate" about to burst onto the national stage? Could be.

The above is a flyer that Professor Scharlott made and sent to me yesterday. Of course the information that Brad is referring to came from this post I put up on Monday.

I have to say I am still fairly stunned, though quite pleased, by how much attention this post received. From Andrew Sullivan, to Henry Blodget, to my friend Joe McGinniss, it certainly seems to have reinvigorated the issue of babygate, and brought a whole new level of scrutiny to this most egregious hoax.

Which of course has been the goal all along.

Many of you have begged me to drop some sort of information bomb, that would blow Palin's political future out of the water and ultimately reveal, irrefutably, that Palin did NOT give birth to Trig Paxson Van Palin on April 18, 2008.

However I came to the understanding long ago that such an explosive post was unlikely to ever happen, and that instead I needed to keep working around the edges of this story in the hope that ultimately there would simply be too much cumulative evidence for even the MSM to ignore.

Personally I think I have done fairly well at this. As evidenced by my Two Babies post, my Shailey Tripp interview, and numerous others, I think I have helped to move the ball forward significantly since my friend Audrey was forced off of the field almost two years ago now.

And no I am not discounting the contributions from the many other dedicated bloggers either. This has been a community effort, and it is very gratifying to see even more bloggers, journalists, and even book authors joining in to help finally get to the bottom of this intriguing, bizarre, and very troubling deception.

In my opinion we are very, very close to blowing this thing wide open, and finally getting the story the attention it has always deserved from those who have been, thus far, resistant to covering it.

After all, if Anthony Weiner's wiener can be the central story for almost two weeks now, then SURELY Sarah Palin faking a pregnancy for political gain should be front page news for at least a month, if not longer!  Don't you agree?

Tuesday, June 14, 2011

It is becoming harder and harder for Joe McGinniss to remain "trignostic."

Sarah Palin March 26, 2008. Twenty two days before "giving birth."
From Joe's blog:

What’s new in the emails is proof that seven hours after being overwhelmed by desperation about the fate of her new gift from her Heavenly Father, Sarah was firing off BlackBerry messages, including one about Andrew Halcro, one of her opponents in the gubernatorial race of 2006, who’d started a blog often critical of her.

“What a goof he is…truly annoying,” she wrote in the throes of her desperation about Trig’s fate. She added, “I’m headed home from Dallas.”

We’ve all heard about compartmentalizing, but, hey, let’s get real: her great gift from her Heavenly Father is at risk of dying before he’s even born and Sarah is bitching about Andrew Halcro?

Despite being overwhelmed by desperation, Sarah also fired off a note to an aide that morning, instructing her not to proceed with a fake letter to the editor of the Anchorage Daily News–one that was to be sent as if it came from Sarah–responding to criticism from a couple of Anchorage radio personalities.

“Don’t submit at this time as there will be more thought put into this…” she wrote.

In THE ROGUE I wonder about how Sarah spent the hours between the onset of desperation at four a.m. and her luncheon speech. Now we know: she was on her BlackBerry, dealing with inconsequential matters, as her amniotic fluid continued to leak, putting her baby, hour by hour, at increasing risk.

IF there was a baby in her womb at the time.

Jesse Griffin’s close reading of Sarah’s letter to family and friends, written as if it were from God, provides the strongest evidence I’ve yet seen that Sarah was not pregnant in 2008 and did not give birth to Trig.

In the popular idiom, “God is in the details.” Here, God is in the redactions.

You know, I had feeling that Joe would come around eventually.

Man if you think the books written by Geoffrey Dunn and Frank Bailey rattled Palin's cage, just wait until she gets a load of what McGinniss has in store for her.

(P.S. By the way I also heard from the authors of the "babygate" book today.  Guess who else just added a new chapter?)

Henry Blodgett over at the Business Insider requests your help.

From the Business Insider:

Last week, an anonymous commenter on a blog called The Immoral Minority claimed to know beyond any doubt that Sarah Palin faked the pregnancy of her son Trig and lied to the country about it (see comment from "Anonymous" posted at 4:32pm).

The commenter said that s/he is a medical worker in the state of Alaska and knows for a fact that Sarah Palin did not give birth to her son Trig, as Palin has always claimed.

This posting followed a resurgence of interest in the Sarah Palin-Trig "baby-hoax" question spawned by the publication in mid-April of a paper by Professor Bradford Scharlott of Northern Kentucky University, which argued that the Palin pregnancy was a fraud.

The comment on Immoral Minority could obviously be a complete fabrication. But it is a good reminder that there are at least a handful of people in this country who can provide an answer to this question once and for all (and who aren't members of the Palin family).

Importantly, establishing the truth about this question is more important than Sarah Palin and "politics." If Alaska governor and Vice-President candidate Sarah Palin faked her pregnancy, she defrauded the entire country. If she didn't, she (and we) deserve to not have any more time wasted discussing the question. Whether or not Palin runs for president in 2012, therefore, Americans deserve to know the truth here, and we will be grateful to anyone who can help us establish it.

Henry Blodgett has posted a number of ways to contact him anonymously, and my advice to you if you are one of the people who have been saying they have information that can finally put this whole thing to rest is to go for it.

I have said all along that it is NOT important that I be the one to break this story, only THAT it be broken in a way that the MSM simply cannot ignore any longer.

I have some hope that Fred's upcoming babygate book might accomplish that, but it would be just as sweet in my mind if that happened over at the Business Insider. Fred's book will still have other very interesting  things to reveal that should make it a fascinating book to read.

So head on over to Business Insider and take a look.  If you have some REAL information that might finally reveal this most treacherous of lies, then perhaps this is the day that you demonstrate YOUR patriotism and shut this woman down for good!

The authors of "Babygate" book need your help.

One of the questions that I have been asked more times than any other is "Gryphen, WHY don't you just tell everything that you know and finish this woman?"

I often wonder just who would ask such a thing?

Do they REALLY believe that if I were to write some long drawn out post on this blog laying out all of the rumors, gossip, and first hand accounts I had heard, with NOBODY willing to come forward and confirm them, that it would have any real affect?

Because it wouldn't. And I have always secretly believed that many of the people who ask me to do that, are actually Palin-bots who are attempting to trick me into divulging some source so that they can then scare them away or buy them off, thereby protecting their Queen from a potentially devastating scandal.

So instead I have been working quietly behind the scenes to move that information, and those sources, into the hands of authors and journalists with larger audiences and, let's face it, more credibility.

You have started to see the result of all of that hard work already.  But there is still much, much more to come.

And one of those projects is an actual book on the topic of Babygate itself. I hinted at this back at the beginning of this month. (Sometime after that hint there was talk of another book on babygate being written, but there is NO connection to this project and I know nothing about that book. And neither do any of my author friends or journalistic sources.)

Up until today I was keeping the project under my hat until it had moved to a place that we felt it was safe to discuss openly.  So right now I can tell you that it is nearing completion and will be ready for publication in the near future.

The book is being painstakingly researched and they have ALREADY uncovered some heretofore unknown bits of information that will, hopefully, make this the definitive book on the subject, and force the mainstream media to finally give this story the attention it has so long deserved.

I can tell you that some of our favorite babygate bloggers, and researchers from the past, have been contacted and will contribute to this book, as well as some sources with important information who have refused to come forward up until this point.

You should also know that the main writer on this book is an established best selling author with a reputation to protect, so this will NOT be some clumsily thrown together paperback, with scandalous accusations and no facts to back it up.  This will be a well researched, and well documented, journalistic endeavor that should be VERY convincing even to the most stubborn faked pregnancy denier.

So this is where YOU come in.

As it turns out the book is coming along just fine, but for some reason the sticking point has been coming up with the title.  So the authors have asked me to start a little contest here on IM to help come up with the BEST possible title for this book.

So if you would be so kind, I would appreciate it if you could put on your thinking caps and come up with a title that will be provocative enough to draw attention to the book, but not so silly as to make it seem unserious.

I will then take the best choices and put them up in a poll in the next few days and we can then vote on them.

I CANNOT actually promise that the one which receives the most votes will end up as the title, but you never know. And besides how much fun would it be if you were able to walk into your local bookstore and see the book with the title YOU came up with sitting on the New Arrivals shelf?

I have long said that getting the truth out about Sarah Palin would be a community effort, and so it feels right to involve all of you as much as possible as we put those final nails into her political coffin.

I know I speak for ALL of the people who have worked so hard to bring the truth to the public about this dangerous lunatic, that we could NOT have done it without your contributions and energetic support.

So thank you my friends, and as you start your long Memorial Day weekend know this.....Sarah Palin hates you!

Namaste, you Trig Truthers you, namaste.

The Associated Press interviews Frank Bailey.

From the AP:

A former member of Sarah Palin's inner circle has written a scathing tell-all, saying Palin was ready to quit as governor months before she actually resigned and was eager to leave office when more lucrative opportunities came around.

"In 2009 I had the sense if she made it to the White House and I had stayed silent, I could never forgive myself," Frank Bailey told The Associated Press.

Palin's attorney did not respond to multiple requests for comment for this story.

"Blind Allegiance to Sarah Palin: A Memoir of Our Tumultuous Years" is due out Tuesday and based on tens of thousands of emails that Bailey said he kept during his time with Palin. It began with working on her 2006 gubernatorial campaign and continued through her failed run for vice president in 2008 and her brief stint as governor.

The Alaska attorney general's office has said it's investigating Bailey's use of the emails. Executive ethics laws bar former public officials from using information acquired during their work for personal gain if the information hasn't been publicly disseminated.

The state has yet to release thousands of emails that Palin sent and received during her 2 ½ years as governor. Bailey's attorney has said Bailey took "great care" to ensure his writings were consistent with legal requirements.

Billed as the first Palin book by a former aide, "Blind Allegiance" bolsters the perception of Palin as self-serving, while casting Bailey as her enforcer — willing to do the dirty work, no questions asked.

The interesting thing about this book is that Bailey does NOT attempt to sugarcoat his blind obedience to Sarah Palin, nor his often unethical behavior on her behalf.  In fact Bailey uses his very real, and personal religious convictions to guide him through some very painful confessions, and seems more concerned with receiving forgiveness from his God then worrying about how Sarah Palin or the public judge him based on the information that he reveals.

I can certainly attest that Frank earned his nickname "The Enforcer" as I had my own run in with him back in 2009.  However since that time, from everything that I have heard, Frank has been trying to turn his life around and make amends for the part he played in further the Grizzled Mama's political career.

Which is why I have "Blind Allegiance to Sarah Palin" pre-ordered on my Nook, and set to arrive tomorrow. And when it does I am going to dive right in and devour every morsel of what I know to be a fascinating story of what happens behind the scenes in the world of Sarah Palin, as told from a self identified "Palin-bot."

How could this NOT be good?

(And of course since I have already read the leaked manuscript, I am more than a little confident that this book is worth the purchase price.)

The saga of "WendyWaitress" and the pitfalls of an open dialogue on the internet.

It started with a comment that appeared on the Laura Novak tries to get a straight answer out of ADN editor Pat Dougherty post.

Hello there Gryphen. New reader, new poster here. I actually was "referred" if you will by Sarah Palin herself. She and a woman I did not recognize have lunched several times this year in the restaurant where I work. Of course one hears all types of gossip when serving what is generally considered the "upper crust"...but in this day and age of cell phone photos being sold to tabloids for 10 thousand dollars, many well known people tend to be more discreet now.

Then there are folks like Sarah Palin, whom I refer to as "the peek-a-boo set". They think just because they aren't talking TO you, that you can't HEAR them. (Palin is also a part of what I call the Shitty Tipper Collective...in Arizona where everyone judges you by the amount of money you do or do NOT throw around, Sarah Palin has tipped as low as 2 percent)

Anyway twice now I've heard her talking about someone who obviously presses her buttons...she had said the same thing practically verbatim both times, maniacally ranting why do people even listen to him, I mean who in their right mind calls themselves immoral with pride, and you know it's no wonder he turned his own kid gay, he's all the time talkin' about what a lousy husband he was, I mean this guy is deranged, do you know he has stalked me at public appearances, and he doesn't even have a job he's just a blogger......and on and on and onnnnnn.

After the second time I googled "Palin Immoral Blog" and here I am. I find it very funny that she says you are "just" a blogger, when as far as I can tell SHE is "just" a facebooker and twitter-er.
I am really enjoying reading your archives. I knew she was stupid and obnoxious but I had no idea about all of this....insanity. How is it this woman still has people thinking she is fit to lead the country?

This was not the first time that I had heard of Palin badmouthing me in public.  In fact the last time I was told of this happening, it was also something overheard in a restaurant.

By the way Sarah is not the ONLY Palin to say things behind my back, I have also had the honor of being bad mouthed by Bristol on Facebook. As you can imagine rather than hurt my feelings these reports kind of make my day to some degree.

After this comment our anonymous waitress friend adopted the moniker "WendyWaitress."

Wow, what a great welcome!! Thanks all.

I have now spent exactly..ummm ALL of my day off reading Gryphen's archives, I loaded this blog into my news reader and kept falling more and more down the rabbit hole. How is this not MAJOR MAJOR MAJOR news? Osama bin Laden KILLED, Active state governor fakes pregnancy. Am I wrong here??

For the person who asked me to describe the person Sarah Palin was with, well she was very nice compared to Sarah, she actually looked me in the eye and did not BARK at ME because SHE ordered a salad nicôise and was pissed it ended up being something she didn't like or even know what it was and then demanded I ask our michelin starred chef to make CHICKEN FINGERS..like someone else I could name. Anyway she had blond hair, kind of pink/ruddy complexion and was wearing a super expensive but VERY ill fitting (???) suit and louboutin heels which I know for a fact cost as much as my monthly salary.

The most interesting thing about Sarah Palin's lunch date is that she seemed very focused on redirecting Sarah when she would go off on these angry tangents.

She also had bangs, and her handbag was a dooney from the 2009 season I think, bright yellow patent. (I was a fashion major and I notice these things I guess)

The only other thing I think would be of interest to you all, on the second time I saw them, the companion was gently chiding Sarah, saying "hon you can't get mad at a little boy for calling you grandma when you are his grandma! Teach him "LuLu" when he's older!"

Which I took to mean, Sarah didn't want Bristal's little one to call her Grandma so instead she was trying to get him to call her LuLu. But now of course I'm wondering just who exactly they were talking about.

Unfortunately I think that pretty much empties my gossip quiver. But maybe they'll come back. You can be sure I will be paying verrry close attention if they do.

Thanks again for the warm welcome. I already love everyone here!

PS, in attempt to distinguish myself from the many other anonymous' posting, I will be using the name WendyWaitress=)

Right after this some of the anonymous commenters started to challenge "Wendy" about petty things about concerning her post and suggesting that she was not believable.  I allowed  these comments through because I was interested in just what Wendy had stirred up, and because I KNEW that others would defend Wendy. Which they did.

However the number going on the attack soon overwhelmed those arguing on Wendy's behalf.

This inspired WendyWaitress to come back to clarify her statements and defend herself.

Oh crap you are right. Maybe I should not have mentioned the salad.

Maybe I'm being naive but I am not worried. She was so dismissive she practically looked THROUGH me. Seriously.

We have a normally "tungsten steel clad" (as my boss says) rule that nobody ever discusses a "celeb" guest, ever ever ever. But my shift manager said "feel free to tell all and sundrie what a BITCH she is, maybe it'll get back to her and she can punish us by keeping on her high horse and riding the hell on past us next time".

Usually our celeb customers are so gracious and discreet AND they tip enough to buy more than a stick of gum...

I've been waitressing (we call it "serving") for almost 4 years, ever since I finished my apparently worthless degree. And only once have I ever run into someone well known who was rude like her. And keep in mind we're right in the middle of the "spa" district ("spa"'=rehab or plastic surgery recovery a lot of times) and we get our share of well known guests. But nobody has ever made the staff collectively raise our eyebrows like "are we being punked?" as she did.

To the person who worried Wendy might be my real name, no....I just wanted to think of something that sounded good with "waitress", LOL

I have been reading about this baby thing literally all day. I really have to give credit to a lot of the posters here, reading the comments on these posts is seriously better than a thriller novel! People here are so smart and clever with the observations and insights.

One thing I personally noticed right off the bat, Sarah Palin talked about breast-feeding her baby a lot in the beginning. Seems like I have read 3 or 4 articles just today where she mentions something about a breast pump. But then the photos of her at work just 3 DAYS after the birth?? My sister had a baby in January and on the 2nd or 3rd day after, her breasts swelled up as big as her head and she was in so much pain she cried when it was time to feed my nephew. It took a couple weeks for the swelling to go down. My sister could not have gotten in a size 2 fitted suit (her pre pregnancy work clothes) that soon after birth, if you had offered her a million dollars. And her MD said when she swelled up like that, it was totally normal and happens to most women in the first post pardum week.

When I see those photos of Sarah Palin in a fitted suit, 72 hours after giving birth (supposedly) and then I think of my sister who had her first baby, was only 29, and teaches pilates classes (you wanna see tight abs???).....well let's just say the picture of Sarah Palin in her tailored suit with perfect makeup and no hair out of place and the picture of my sister with her bed-head, broken cappilaries, and happy but exhausted eyes.....well it sure does not look like they went through the same experience.

Now that I have spent my whole day delving in to this insane story, I have to go do actual stuff like dinner and laundry. But please know all of your comments in all these great posts have just been so fun and interesting to read=)

After this comment the negativity from anonymous commenters increased and the statement was made that there were NO Michelin Star chefs in Arizona. (As I am sure many of you did, I googled to check just to be sure, and found that there were indeed some Michelin star chefs in Arizona, (Including by the way in Scottsdale.  You know, the same place where Sister Sarah JUST purchased a million and a half dollar mansion!)

However the questions concerning Wendy's believability were too much and she decided that perhaps IM was not the hospitable place she had first imagined it to be.

Huh. I guess I said my warm welcome bit a little too early.

Maybe you guys have been burned by people who have (or have not) interacted with Sarah Palin? I dint know. But it feels pretty shitty to have someone "call bullshit" on you because you misspelled nicôise. Unlike Ms. Palin, at least I know how to SAY it. (she said "nik-swah"; it's nee-swah)

As for there not being any Michelin chefs in Arizona...are you joking??? Are YOU Sarah Palin or one of her cronies? We have some of the best eateries in the country here. We have numerous restaurants on the grounds of posh hotels as well as high class dining in the shopping and spa districts.

What really IS bullshit...is that instead of dogging me and making me wish I had NEVER commented..you could have spent two minutes on google and gotten it right. Or even just READ my post- I did not say chicken fingers were on the menu- I said that is what she ASKED for when she disliked what she had ordered off the menu.

My observations may not be earth shattering, I may not ever hear anything truly juicy or revealing but if you jump everyone who comes here with ANY detail or personal account, it's a safe bet the people who DO have the really good dirt will NEVER speak up.

I don't know if I am even going to read the comments again much less write my own. If you want to doubt me that's your business, but you should at least have a better reason than "she didn't spell nicôise right"...I notice the person who pointed that out didn't spell it either. It's a hard word to spell and I can never remember where the accents go. The thing is, I'm pretty sure that only makes me HUMAN....not a liar.

To the person who suggested I have Gryphen verify my "credentials"...are YOU joking, too?? You want me to send my personal information to an out of state blogger I came across 12 hours ago? You can't be serious. I don't have "credentials". I'm a waitress who thought some people might find my personal dealing with a public figure mildly interesting. Nothing I could say about what Sarah Palin ate or didn't eat or what she was wearing is going to have even a shred of impact on her politics, who likes her, who doesn't like her...the end.

Thanks to the people who WERE nice. It felt great to be welcomed for those few HOURS before people started pissing on my parade. Being that my feelings are hurt and I don't feel I was given a fair shake by people who discredited me based upon their made up knowledge regarding the caliber of chefs we have in Arizona...if Sarah Palin "graces" us with her presence again I will probably be keeping it to myself.

Bye, folks. I am not the type who can just let being basically called a liar slide off my back and not bother me. It DOES bother me, so my choice will be to avoid it by not reading the comments here.

Next time someone speaks up, I urge you not to write them off until you have a legitimate reason for doing so. Maybe someone came here once and tested the waters by revealing a little of what they know. And maybe someone "called bullshit" on them. And maybe they decided, well...this is just not worth the hassle. And MAYBE...they would have had a lot more to say, if they hadn't been jumped on and ridiculed right away=(

At this point I realized that I had let the conversation get out of hand, and had failed to properly protect a newcomer who was not aware that most likely the negativity coming her way was from the Palin-bots who are constantly lurking around this blog.  She sadly believed it was from people who she felt should be on her side,  when it appeared they were not she became discouraged.

So I responded in an effort to let her know that her information and candor was greatly appreciated.

To WendyWaitress, I would like to extend my gratitude for the information that you provided, as well as an apology for how some treated you for your bravery.

It is my usual policy to allow an open exchange of ideas and opinions in the comments section. Usually a troll who attacks a commenter is taken down by somebody else rather quickly. I did see that happen yesterday, but then I also noticed a dramatic increase in the attacks leveled against you.

You are new to this type of give and take, but when THAT happens it is usually an indication that your remarks were potentially damaging to Sarah Palin, and her minions have been dispatched to discredit you.

The LAST thing they want to believe is that their Queen is so thin skinned and easily rattled that she sits around bitching about me. That would give me a sense of power that they are desperate that I not have.

However I have long known about the impact I have on Palin, and you simply provided more proof.

Thank you for your information, and rather than feel insulted by the attacks, rejoice! You scared the Palin-bots, and that is a badge of honor around here.

I really do hope you come back. I will certainly always welcome you, and by the way, whose blog is it anyhow? LOL!

Sadly I do not think I was fast enough, and Wendy may very well have meant it that she is never coming back here again.  If true that would be a loss.

Please take a good hard look a the last thing WendyWaitress wrote in her final comment, that is a lesson for ALL of us.

I have to accept the lion's share of the blame here, in my desire to not interfere with the back and forth among the commenters I left Wendy virtually defenseless.  I had hoped that there would be more than enough people to come to her aid, and to be honest I was out and away from my computer much of the 18th and 19th, and did not monitor the comments as closely as I do on other occasions.

I dislike having to reject comments unless absolutely necessary (And believe it or not I DID reject a number of comments during those exchanges that were extremely insulting), however in the future I may have to use a heavier hand in order to protect people who provide new information about Sarah Palin that will identify them as a target of the Palin-bots.

As for WendyWaitress, I certainly hope you are still lurking around here somewhere, and that you will continue to contribute occasionally, or at the very least continue to read the information provided here for the edification and enjoyment of all.

Oh and by the way, since we all know that the Grizzled Mama is an extraordinarily vindictive bitch, please let us know if there is any backlash against you at your place of employment.  If there any calls to complain or threats to your job, I would be more than happy to publicize that here, and as many other places as possible.

Do you hear that Sarah?
