Eau De Grifter

My understanding is that it is made from the broken dreams of teabaggers, the pitiful tears of her children, and the last of Todd's rapidly diminishing testosterone.

SarahPac's latest report-oh this is a doozy!

From The Wall Street Journal Blog

Remember the images of the Liberty Bell and Constitution on the bus former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin used for her “One Nation” tour last month?

That bus wrap cost $13,708.44, according to her political action committee’s mid-year campaign finance report. The report doesn’t list how much Ms. Palin spent to rent the bus for the “One Nation Tour,” which ran May 30 through June 3. On June 2, the committee paid a Dallas Visa center about $26,000 for “Air fare, lodging, car rental and wireless.”

The report showed SarahPAC spent $1.6 million and took in $1.7 million during the first half of 2011.

The filing, covering the committee’s expenses from Jan. 1 through June 30, also lists:

–$5,794 on a tour of the Holy Land, guided by Sar-El Tours and Travel, when Ms. Palin visited Israel back in March.

–$683 on bookmarks from Nico & LaLa, a Nashville event-planning firm specializing in “swanky, southern and sophisticated,” according to its website.

–$27,850 for Air Partner Private Jets on April 15, and $7,000 in May on Republican Presidential Travel, another air charter firm.

–$293 for a meal at Ray’s the Steaks in Arlington, Va., the day before Ms. Palin kicked off her East Coast bus tour.

-$18,700 in February to Young America’s Foundation, a conservative youth outreach group in Hendon, Va.

–a $5,000 contribution to Colorado Republican Rep. Mike Coffman’s campaign committee on Jan. 31. On June 29, near the end of the reporting period, the PAC gave $5,000 each to a number of 2012 Republican congressional candidates: Reps. Larry Bucschon of Indiana, Ann Marie Buerkle of New York,  Vicky Hartzler of Missouri, Martha Roby of Alabama, Lou Barletta of Pennsylvania,  Allen West of Florida, Sean Duffy of Wisconsin, Francisco Canseco of Texas, Renee Ellmers of North Carolina, Mike Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania, and Sens. Roger Wicker of Mississippi and Bob Corker of Tennessee. Many of the lawmakers represent districts in swing states or are tea party-leaning freshmen elected last year.
-$18,700 in February to Young America’s Foundation, a conservative youth outreach group in Hendon, Va.

In case you have forgotten, here is that hideous bus:

I'm sure the Peebots are thrilled that they paid $300 for a meal.  Her income is way down too, and Barack Obama has raised $86 million for his re-election campaign.  I think it's safe to say her supporters are turning on her.

There a few other guidelines that are NOT included on this list, but which participants should be aware.

Do not ask any "ear" questions! For some reason that REALLY pisses the Palins off!

Do not stare at the chin! (But OMGD! Look at that thing!)

Don't ask about Todd, unless you would like to join him in his fate. (However if you ask to see his balls Sarah might be able to oblige your request.)

Don't ask Bristol why she insinuated that the father of her child had date raped her. ("Psst! That was Mom's idea.")

Don't ask Sarah which part of her book "America by Heart" is her favorite. (She hasn't actually read it.)

And don't suddenly start questioning WHY you are standing in a line for hours to get a poorly written book filled with lies signed by two untalented losers who are making millions of dollars off of their fellow Americans so that they do not have to actually work for a living.

Sarah hates taxes but yet has no problem having tax money spent on her

ABC News

Sarah Palin is set to tour national monuments around the country this summer, and one congressman wants to know how that will affect everyone else.

Rep. Earl Blumenauer (D-Ore.) sent a letter to the National Park Service today asking how federal resources were used for the northeast leg of Palin’s “One Nation Tour,” which traveled from Washington, D.C. to New Hampshire last week. His concern: press accounts of the tour “which provided personal and political benefits to former Gov. Palin, suggest that National Park Service resources were made available to an extent beyond that which an average American family would receive.”

“I opened my paper this morning to hear about cutbacks in state parks around this country,” Blumenauer told ABC News. “We have a serious backlog of maintenance in the National Park Service. And it looks like Sarah Palin’s little political  cavalcade gets this amazing VIP treatment – I’m scratching my head. If it’s a private family vacation, what in the world are we doing getting people in with preferential early admission and having an entourage of public employees? It looks like a political stunt, and Palin Inc. ought to pay for it.”

Palin was surrounded by park rangers and, at times, police officers during her tour stops. Last Wednesday, she and her family were accompanied by approximately 10 authorities as they toured the Statue of Liberty.
David Barna, a Park Service spokesman, told ABC News that with the exception of the Statue of Liberty visit, it was business as usual at all the sites Palin saw. (With the exception, of course, of dozens of spectators and press following the former Alaska governor.)

We recognize she is not a government official, she is not a candidate for public office, so we treated her as any other celebrity that might come in,” he said. He compared the Park Service’s treatment of Palin last week – organizing private tours, opening specific monuments early – to what they might do “for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie."

“If there was any cost, it might have been for the park police at the Statue of Liberty,” he said. “Right now, I don’t know the answer to that."

Barna is seeking answers to Rep. Blumenauer’s question about how much money went into hosting Palin. As far as planning for Palin’s potential visits to other national monuments – she said she plans to visit the West Coast, Iowa and South Carolina this summer – he said, “We haven’t done anything, we’re not involved in anything. We’re just like everyone else, waiting to see what happens.”

While the congressman isn’t necessarily a fan of Palin – he noted, “This is the woman who called my bi-partisan end of life care ‘death panels’” – he said this inquiry “isn’t a vendetta against her.”

“I want to find out what’s going on,” he said. “It shouldn’t be the case with anyone, celebrity or otherwise, that we use resources needed to protect these jewels of the American outdoors and the employees who guard them to give special treatment to VIPs.”

Aides for Palin declined ABC News’ request for comment.

If Sarah really cared about the deficit she would reimburse the National Park Service and the local police departments that were involved in her Bus Tour.  She is a cunt of the highest order.  And I don't want any of my tax dollars spent on a cunt liker her.

Sarah Palin to visit Donald Trump for pointers on how to run a fake campaign,

Courtesy of First Read:

Just in case you thought that Sarah Palin's press-goosechase bus tour of the I-95 corridor couldn't get any more surreal...

Michael Cohen, special counsel to Donald Trump, confirms to NBC News that the real estate mogul and his wife will meet and dine with Palin and her husband Tuesday night in New York City.

Cohen tells NBC News that Palin and Trump had previously discussed meeting up the next time Palin visited the city.

I wonder if Palin is asking for ideas on which excuse to use when she quits this fake non-campaign of hers?

Remember when Trump quit he made it sound like it was a victory for him, essentially saying "I made the President show his long form birth certificate, I am going to quit while I'm ahead!."

The challenge for Sarah Palin is quitting before anybody can shame her into a debate, but not before she has soaked up as much attention and Palin-bot loose change as possible.

This is just rude.

From Reuters:

Palin was a no-show for supporters, celebrity-watchers and media waiting hours for her at the Civil War battlefield of Gettysburg on Monday, but her tour bus reportedly was spotted at a nearby hotel, making it likely she would appear in public Tuesday.

Palin, the Republican vice presidential candidate in 2008, is on a tour of historic sites on the East Coast -- fueling speculation she might be testing the waters for a run at the presidency in 2012.

But the former Alaska governor isn't advising the media of her itinerary, leaving supporters as well as reporters guessing where she will appear next.

Several hundred people gathered on a hot, sunny day for a glimpse of the woman who supporters are hoping will inject some life into a slow-moving race for the Republican nomination to take on President Barack Obama next year.

Some of those gathered at Gettysburg were puzzled by the goal of her tour, which seemed designed to attract public attention despite a lack of information.

"In a way it's cool. In a way it's, 'Whaa?'" said John Hower, a baker who drove for three hours from Berwick, Pennsylvania, with two friends to see Palin. "She's trying to avoid the media. But I'd like to see the bus. We're, like, where's this bus?"

"I'm disappointed. Yeah, I would have liked to have seen her," said Sharon Danielski, who left after a nine-hour vigil.

It is one thing to play the prick tease with the media, but these people are innocent victims who might actually be uninformed and low functioning enough to support her candidacy. (Yeah I tried to be nice, but seriously people buy a clue!)

However if she keeps this kind of thing up, she might start chipping away at her base of support, one disappointed paint eater at a time.

Of course if she HAD shown up, like she did earlier at Gettysburg, all they would get to see is one badly sunburned, poorly dressed grandmother, with a bored little girl in tow, and a mouthful of lies and word salad to dispense.

You know if she REALLY did not want to "disrupt people on their trips and on their vacations, and make it chaotic for these good folks" perhaps she might consider leaving the ostentatious bus in a parking lot someplace and visiting the historic landmarks like every other American tourist.  Or can't SarahPAC justify paying for it that way?

What the fuck? Bristol gets a "reality show"

From the Ottawa Citizen

Single mom Bristol Palin has landed her own reality TV show, and producers say she will allow cameras "exclusive access" into her personal life for the first time.

The small U.S. BIO cable channel said on Monday it had ordered 10 half-hour episodes of a documentary series that will follow Palin and her two-year-old son Tripp as they move to Los Angeles and work for a small charity there.

Palin, 20, the unmarried elder daughter of Tea Party favourite Sarah Palin, became a celebrity in her own right last year by waltzing her way to the finals of Dancing With the Stars despite having two left feet.

Late last year she bought a fivebedroom house near Phoenix, Ariz., with her earnings from the show and as a spokeswoman for a teen abstinence campaign group. At the time, she was reported planning to attend college there.

But the as-yet-untitled TV documentary will see Palin moving in with two former child stars, brothers Kyle and Christoper Massey. She and Kyle competed on the same season of Dancing With the Stars.

The series is scheduled to air in late 2011, BIO channel said.

"Bristol is the kind of personality BIO is drawn to," said David McKillop, executive vice-president of programming at BIO Channel.

"Her personal life has been playing out in the media for several years but this will be the first time she's opening up her real life, with her son and her friends the Massey brothers."

Monday's announcement follows speculation that Palin may have undergone plastic surgery. Photos taken at an appearance by the young mom at a red carpet event in New York last week showed her with a slimmer, heart-shaped face and chin.

In March, Palin signed a deal for a book about her life growing up in Alaska in the media and political frenzy surrounding her mother Sarah, who grabbed the national spotlight when she was chosen as Republican vice-presidential candidate in 2008 elections.

Yep Bristol is setting a really good example.  She is teaching young girls in order to be rich and famous all you have to do is lay on your back and get injected with man juice and presto!  You have a baby who will make you rich.  At least its on the Bio channel which no one watches anyway.

Update-Bristol Palin made at least a quarter of a million dollars just for lying on her back and spreading her legs to every Tom, Dick, and Harry (or in her case, every Levi, Johnny, and Ben)

From Think Progress

In 2009, Sarah Palin’s daughter Bristol joined a teen pregnancy prevention nonprofit called the Candie’s Foundation. Today, the Associated Press reported that the Candie’s Foundation released its 2009 tax information, revealing that Bristol was paid a salary of $262,500. But a closer examination of the tax form by ThinkProgress shows that the group disbursed only $35,000 in grants to actual teen pregnancy health and counseling clinics: $25,000 to the Mt. Sinai Adolescent Health Center and $10,000 to the National Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy. View a screenshot of Bristol’s exorbitant salary below:

View a screenshot of the Candie’s Foundation charitable disbursements below:

Thus, the nonprofit paid Bristol over seven times what it paid to teen pregnancy prevention groups. In addition, the Candie’s Foundation spent $165,000 on advertising, including this spot with Bristol and “The Situation” of MTV’s Jersey Shore:

Notably, Bristol’s Candie’s Foundation group is run by Neil Cole, an executive at the teenage clothing company Iconix Brand Group. Many critics have pointed out that the Candie’s Foundation appears to be geared towards improving the public image of Cole’s company rather than reducing teen pregnancy.

I'LL SAY IT AGAIN, BRISTOL PALIN IS NO ROLE MODEL. EVEN THE SITUATION IS A BETTER ROLE MODEL THAN HER. IF SHE REALLY WANTED TO BE A ROLE MODEL SHE WOULD GO BACK TO SCHOOL, GET A JOB, RAISE TRIPP RIGHT AND WORK HER ASS OFF, BUT SINCE SHE IS A PALIN SHE KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT HARD WORK. I HAVE AN ASSOCIATES DEGREE AND SHE MAKES ALMOST 10 TIMES WHAT I DO, AND SHE DIDN'T EVEN GRADUATE HIGH SCHOOL, SURE THERE ARE PICS OF HER IN A GRADUATION GOWN, BUT THEY COULD BE PHOTOSHOPPED. AND LEVI DESERVES A CUT OF HER EARNING, AFTER ALL HE WAS THE SPERM DONOR, ALLEGEDLY.

I AM ALSO TIPPING THE INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE SO THEY KNOW SHE MADE AT LEAST $262,000 IN 2009.

Update-the Candies Foundation released a statement regarding Bristol.

For ten years, The Candie's Foundation has been working to prevent teen pregnancy by producing and funding celebrity-driven print, television, radio and online public service announcements. Ms. Palin was compensated for her work with the foundation, which included appearing in video and print PSAs, two town hall meetings, and numerous media interviews.

The message of the foundation about teen pregnancy prevention has generated more than ONE BILLION media impressions – tremendous reach for any teen pregnancy prevention campaign. We know that Ms. Palin's work has had a positive effect on teens. In a recent independent national survey of 1,000 teens that compared a Bristol Palin PSA with those of nother national teen pregnancy organization that use non-famous teens, more than twice as many teens (57% vs. 27%) said Bristol's PSA "got my attention", three times as many (41% vs. 11%) said it was "powerful", and more than twice as many (38% vs. 16%) said it was "memorable".

Bristol Palin is one of dozens of celebrities who has worked with the foundation. She has been a courageous and powerful partner to the foundation as we attempt to discourage teen pregnancy.

Research backs up Bristol Palin efforts: PSA has positive effects on teens pregnancy prevention behavior.

More information from the Associated Press:

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) — Bristol Palin was well worth the $332,500 she was paid to be an ambassador for a foundation aiming to prevent teen pregnancy, the organization's founder said Wednesday.

In her 2009 debut with The Candies Foundation, the unwed mother and daughter of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin was paid $262,500 for 15 to 20 days of work, and another $70,000 for a less amount of work last year.

The money spent has been "an amazing investment," according to foundation founder Neil Cole.

The fact that the 20-year-old Bristol Palin was a teen mother herself shows the problem is a national epidemic, not one limited to inner cities or minorities, Cole said.

Her work advocating abstinence through public service announcements, media interviews and TV and radio spots amounts to more than a billion impressions on people, he said, citing a study conducted by the foundation.

"Someone said in our organization today, Bristol's the gift that keeps on giving," he said.
Palin family attorney John Tiemessen did not immediately return requests for comment Wednesday.

Bristol Palin was 18 when she took the job with the New York-based foundation in 2009, months after giving birth to son, Tripp. She and the boy's father, Levi Johnston, are no longer together.

Her pregnancy was announced days after Sen. John McCain picked her mother to be his Republican vice presidential running mate in 2008.

Bristol Palin told The Associated Press last year she "wasn't prepared at all" for the dramatic changes in her life since giving birth in December 2008.

"It changes literally every aspect of your life, and if girls realized how hard it was to be a teen mom, they would think twice about having sex without the proper education and proper knowledge," she said.

Palin is no longer on the payroll, but she remains a friend of the organization, Cole said.

"She has done incredible work," he said. "She's been bold enough — yes she's been paid for her work — but she's bold enough to get in and talk about it."

Public service announcements by Palin and another celebrity, Jenny McCarthy, are far more effective than those featuring non-celebrities, according to a survey of 1,000 teens commissioned in January by the foundation.

A third of respondents said Palin's message made them consider the consequences of teen pregnancy, compared with 16 percent for non-celebrities. Among those surveyed, 57 percent said Palin got their attention and 41 percent called her message powerful, compared with no more than 28 percent and 11 percent, respectively, for non-celebrities.

The Candie's Foundation is a division of the apparel brand Candie's. Cole said there were 1 million teen pregnancies a year when the foundation first started in 2001, compared with the current rate of 750,000 annually.

Bloggers have criticized the organization for paying Palin more than seven times the $35,000 in grants it issued in 2009 to two organizations that tax documents called "public charities providing services to teenagers at risk." Cole said there is no basis for that criticism.
"That's not what we do for a living," he said. "What we do for a living is create awareness."

So Bristol is no longer on the payroll?  Does that mean she really was pregnant and having sex in 2010?  She is nothing more than a grifting whore.
