Five days since her granddaughter's birth Sarah has yet to announce it

Is it because Track produced a girl instead of a boy? Does that make him less manly Sarah?

Or is it because Track and Britta got pregnant out of wedlock and that gives the abstinence only mantra less credibility?

Britta's mom made an annoucement. She's not ashamed and she is a pastor's wife!

Or is it because she is so distracted by Mercede telling the truth about the Palins?

From The National Enquirer

IN her biggest meltdown EVER, an irate SARAH PALIN went ballistic over a trash-talking interview by LEVI JONSTON’s sister MERCEDE!

Mercede Johnston opened fire in a vicious attack – telling a men’s maga?zine that the former Alaska governor would suffer a “mental breakdown” if elected president.

Sources say “Mama Grizzly” Sarah be?came so enraged she vowed the Johnston clan would never again see baby Tripp, the out-of-wedlock son of Levi and her daughter Bristol.

But acid-tongued Mer?cede – who posed nude in “Playboy” – charged that Bristol’s pregnancy “wasn’t an accident. She and Levi planned it. They were trying to con?ceive for months.”

Protective Palin reacted in a fury – denouncing Mercede as “a little whore,” her entire family as “trailer trash” and Mercede’s mother as “a drug dealer,” say sources.

The former Gov. was referring to Levi and Mercede’s mom Sherry Johnston who’s still serving 3 years house arrest following her 2009 conviction for selling “hillbilly heroin” Oxycontin.

At least ONE of Kyla Grace Palin's grandmothers loves her.

The good grandmother, Elizabeth Hanson, is the one on the left.
Courtesy of Radar Online:

In an exclusive interview with RadarOnline.com, Britta Hanson’s mother Elizabeth expressed her delight over her first grandchild.

“Kyla Grace is great. She’s beautiful,” the proud first-time grandmother said.“I’m very happy,” she gushed about the new baby.

Her daughter Britta, 21, gave birth to Kyla Grace on Saturday, August 6 just three months after marrying Track Palin, 22, Sarah and Todd Palin’s oldest child.

“I love my daughter and my son-in-law very much,” Hanson told RadarOnline.com about the overjoyed new parents.

Elizabeth Hanson spoke briefly about her family’s relationship with the Palins. “They’re their own people; we’ve known each other for a long time.”

Well I am glad that at least SOMEBODY in this screwed up family knows how to honestly share their feelings about this precious child.  Good for you Mrs. Hanson!

It looks like Kyra will have access to at least some sane family members. You know Tripp could have had that too if Bristol and Sarah weren't such...well you know.

(H/T to Joe McGinniss.)

Sarah is a grandma again

track and britta had there baby girl last night, kyla grace palin. nice to know it has a normal name. track and britta do your child a favor and keep sarah away from her. and dont preach abstinence to kyla. would like to see one heath to not be in the family way before marriage. i wonder if this kyla will look like curtis menard.

Welcome to the world Kyla Grace Palin! Update!

Mommy-to-be, Britta Palin, surrounded by Kayla's gifts from the baby shower.
This from the blog of Joe McGinniss:

Sarah Palin’s son Track and his new wife Britta became the proud parents of a baby girl, Kyla Grace Palin, last night.

I learned last summer that Joe has EXCELLENT sources, so if he says that this baby was born last night, you can bet that his information is correct.

Okay let's see, Track and Britta got married in May, and this wonderful bundle of joy is born in August, which is approximately three months later. WTF?

How is it that these Palin women have the fastest human gestation on the planet? Do ALL women in Wasilla get pregnant and give birth in only two or three months, or is that only the people in this family?

By the way here is the official announcement from Sarah Palin.

Update: Well it looks like Radar Online found somebody close to the family to confirm Joe's tip:

A source close to the family confirmed the arrival of the little girl to the young parents who were married just three months ago in May.

Just for the record let me say that I never had any doubt that McGinniss had the straight poop. He made a lot of good friends in Wasilla during his stay and he hears all kinds of things.  As you will all learn for yourselves when his book comes out in September.

The latest Palin family pregnancy makes it to Real Time.

Courtesy of Medaite:

“Sarah Palin in the news this week– became a grandmother again, or for the first time, who knows?” he joked, likely a reference to the conspiracy theories surrounding the birth of her fifth son Trig, though if alluding to that, this would be Palin’s “third” grandchild, so the joke didn’t exactly make sense. He clarified that the child was not Bristol’s, and then added exasperatedly, “do they not have condoms up there? When they say ‘don’t retreat, reload,’ they are not fucking around.” And, as no Palin bashing is complete without an intellect joke, he concluded, “If Bristol Palin really wanted to teach her family about abstinence, maybe the place to put that information wasn’t a book.”

By the way it is has been a week since I first reported that Britta was pregnant, and so far NOTHING from the Palin camp. It kind of makes you wonder if they really thought NOBODY was ever going to figure this out or not?

It's Official-Track and Britta were pregnant before the wedding!-Update

From The Immoral Minority

About two weeks later I received a tip that Britta was indeed pregnant and that fellow students in her nursing classes were all talking about it, and the family was afraid it would soon come out. Then not much later I received yet ANOTHER tip saying that Britta was definitely with child and was avoiding certain casual friends so that the word would not get around and embarrass the families.

Yet it was still all hearsay and I did not feel it was enough to say definitively that the quickie marriage was due to the impending birth of yet another baby into the Palin family.

That is it WAS all hearsay until I received this picture in my email inbox of Britta opening up gifts at her.....wait for it.....baby shower. (Apparently the shower took place just a couple of days ago at the Palin compound in Wasilla.)

Congrats to Track and Britta on their bundle of joy!

A few comments though-why would someone give Britta a jacket for a 2-3 year old when it won't fit an infant?  Unless they plan on saving it for the kid.  Someone else on IM mentioned that maybe this picture is a hoax and that it may be someone else's shower or a kid's birthday party, hence the large jacket.

I really do respect Track for trying to keep a low profile, but I wonder how the Palinbots are going to try and justify this one.  Face it, the tradition in the Heath/Palin families is to get knocked up first then married.  Or be like Bristol and not even marry at all.

Sally and Chuck Heath-pregnant before marriage
Sarah and Todd-pregnant before marriage
Molly and Mike Wooten-pregnant before marriage
Bristol and Levi-never bothered to get married
Track and Britta-pregnant before marriage

Willow will be next.

SPECIAL THANKS TO JESSE GRIFFIN FOR ALL HE DOES WITH HIS BLOG AND GETTING GOOD CONTACTS.   HE DOES THE WORK OF THREE JOURNALISTS.. Update-Gawker has picked up the story http://m.gawker.com/5823062/sarah-palin-is-going-to-be-a-grandmother-again

Wow, it looks like Track Palin's wife made out like a bandit at her baby shower!

For any of those who are STILL not convinced that Britta is pregnant.

It looks like Sarah's next grandchild is going to be extremely cute, if his parents are any indication.

Once again I wish them nothing but good luck.

More proof that Track and Britta's wedding was shotgun-Update

I really do not care what Track and Britta do since they try to keep a low profile, but since Miss Quittypants and Bristhole preach abstinence I think it is news that they were preggers before the wedding. That and the fact that practically everyone in the Palin and Heath families were pregnant before marriage, with Willow and Piper probably following in their footsteps.

Kind of odd that the registry says Britta Hanson and not Palin or even Track's name. Hmmm.

I see that the due date is Aug 29. Will keep and eye out for that. That is also Sarah and Todd's wedding anniversary.

I wonder what the birth announcement will read. Paternal Grandparents are Sarah and Todd Palin and the late Curtis Menard Jr.? Hee Hee!

Update-Britta with all her shower loot:

Saturday, July 16, 2011

Remember how everybody just assumed that Track Palin married his girlfriend because she was pregnant? As it turns out everybody is pretty damn smart.

So to bring you up to speed on May 19, I wrote a post about Track and long time girlfriend Britta Hanson tying the knot up at Hatcher Pass.

My assumption at the time (and the assumption of every other rational person with at least two brain cells they can rub together), was that based on the history the Palins have with marriage and pregnancies, Britta was undoubtedly "in the family way."  However nobody was absolutely positive such was the case.

So based on the tips mentioned above, and this photographic evidence, I think we can safely move this story out of the rumor category, and into the "no shit" category.

So what have we learned here today kiddies?

Number One: That there is a 90% probability that any rumor you hear about the Palin clan will turn out to be true. (Even the crazy ones.)

Number Two: That Bristol is the world's WORST abstinence spokesperson since she could not even convince her own brother's girlfriend not to have premarital sex. ("Stop! Stop it right now, Track! Dammit I'm telling Mom!")

Number Three: That the Palins simply DO NOT get married unless there is a fetus and a loaded shotgun involved. Sarah's mother, Sally Heath, was pregnant when SHE got married, so was Sarah, and then Bristol (Who did not even bother to get married.), and now Britta.  Apparently it's a family tradition.

Not that there is anything wrong with that of course. Well that is unless your future mother-in-law is constantly pimping herself out as a family values fundamentalist Christian savior of America, and your husband's sister is a famous abstinence spokesperson. But whose crazy ass family does that descr....oh yeah, almost forgot!

Well anyhow I wish both Track and Britta nothing but good luck with the new addition to their family.

Based on what we know of the rest of the family, you're going to need it.

A comment from a visitor that really deserves its own post. A timeline that describes what Sarah Palin's birth experience would have been like if it had REALLY happened.

This comment came in response to my "Andrew Sullivan thinks it odd that a woman in the middle of labor has the presence of mind to send e-mails to her staff. You know what? I have to agree" post.

It was so well written, factually based, and passionate, that some of you suggested that I post it.

What can I say, when you're right, you're right.  I now present to you Anonymous 6:57.

I myself have given birth four times- once to twins. So I feel I can be fairly accurate with the following estimations. I've had one homebirth, two vaginal deliveries- one with epidural and one without, and one c-section. So I am taking all my experience into account, along with many secondhand experiences as a doula and birth coach.

They say Trig was born at 6:30am, so...

Immediately after the baby was delivered, the cord would be clamped and he would be taken over to the warmer. The would suction his airways, do his first APGAR, put a security bracelet on his ankle or wrist, clean him up, do a closer umbilical clip, put his first diaper on, and swaddle him up. Now due to Trig's medical issues there certainly would have been an exam done by a pediatrician as well as a pediatric cardiologist. I estimate these measures would have taken approximately 18 to 25 minutes. It seems quick because it is- they do these things bam-bam-bam.

So the time is now approximately 6:50.

Now, while they are clearing the baby's airways and cleaning them up, etc, they are watching mom to make sure the placenta is delivering properly, they'll sometimes press on mom's tummy to jumpstart things is they are stalled...one thing that plays a very large part of this scenario is the fact that Palin claimed to have had to be "induced". Pitocin is a nasty, nasty thing...it forces the body into the most wretched, soul-consuming contractions possible.

The pitocin has to be pulled back for the afterbirth because of the risk concerning uterine prolapse. So we can safely estimate that Palin was starting to expel the afterbirth just as Trig would have been swaddled up and possibly held by dad.

Assuming Palin took the least amount of time possible to expel her afterbirth and that she did not have any tearing (which she likely would have as such a petite woman having a pitocin induced labor) then we can add another 15-20 minutes.

The time is now approximately 7:10.

Palin's own narrative says the children came in "minutes after" the birth. Assuming she didn't make the children watch her afterbirthing...the children come in around 7:15. Supposedly Bristol, Willow, Piper, and of course Levi were there. And Track was on the phone. Even if we allot only 5-7 minutes per child to meet, hold, coo over, etc the new baby, that takes up around 25 minutes.

At some point, Trig will have had his second APGAR scoring. His glucose will be checked and his footprints will be taken. These things will add around 15-20 minutes.

So with kids visiting and holding/meeting the baby (and remember we know from Sarah's own telling to People magazine that each child held Trig right after birth- this is when Willow supposedly says he looks like he has DS- preposterous) and the additional tests and procedures Trig went through...we add about 40 minutes.

The time is now approximately 7:45.

DS babies are notorious for difficult feeding. Sarah herself has mentioned she breastfed Trig. With a DS baby there would have been a nurse or lactation consultant to help with Trig's first feed. In a healthy baby without DS, the first feed averages 40 minutes. It likely took closer to an hour but in the name of playing devil's advocate, we'll say 40 minutes.

The time is now approximately 8:25.

So allowing absolutely NO TIME whatsoever for Sarah to hold and cuddle her new baby nor change her blood and amniotic soaked bed linens...yes, she COULD have been sending emails at 8:30.

But truly- who among us believes that Sarah Palin, governor of Alaska, lay in a bed soaked with blood, feces, fluid, mucous...and chose to send nondescript, unimportant emails...before changing her bed linens, using the restroom carefully, with a wash bottle and then putting on a chux pad...and again, not taking any time to just BE with her new baby...?

I can't believe I took the time to type all this out just so I could say once MORE...WHAT AN IDIOT.

Who would believe this??!

6:57 PM

Well I would like to thank you Anonymous 6:57 for being somebody who would take "the time type all this out" because you certainly made a very informative and helpful contribution to this discussion.

In fact I really have nothing more to add.  You essentially said it all, and said it beautifully.

Thank you.

A big shout out to Malia Litman

Malia Litman is a blogger whose main goal is to expose Sarah Palin for the fraud that she is.  Anyways she posted a pic of Track's wedding yesterday and I commented that Sarah and Todd were not wearing their wedding rings.  She picked up on that and wrote a post about it and gave me props for pointing out the non wedding rings.  Thank you Malia for your kind words.  You can read Malia's blog and post here

Remember when I posted that Track Palin was engaged?

Not anymore!  From dlisted.com (how appropriate)

The eldest Palin son, 22-year-old Track, married his high school sweetheart, 21-year-old Britta Hanson, in an intimate ceremony in Hatcher Pass, Alaska today. After the young army reservist and the nursing student were married, their families immediately wrapped this statement in seal blubber and sent it to the office of People via a carrier falcon:

"Our families couldn't be happier! These are two hard working, humble, active, studious young adults who grew up together. We're tickled that after two decades of friendship we proudly witnessed their marriage, knowing their new life together will be blessed.

They will have a larger wedding celebration this winter at Alaska's Alyeska Ski Resort when extended family and friends from the Lower 48 can travel north for a long ski weekend.

The Hanson and Palin families are ecstatic and proud that Britta and Track married in one of our favorite spots in America, spectacular Hatcher Pass, Alaska. It's a site we've all shared fun memories of skiing, snowboarding, hiking and snowmachining."

You know, there's something very familiar about this whole thing. Having a surprise wedding on a weekday afternoon... The bride wearing a smart casual blazer from Dress Barn with a slimming black t-shirt from The Limited.... A bouquet covering any evidence.... I KNOW! This is just like the wedding my cousin had when she didn't want our abuelita finding out that she was 3-months knocked up! Ho tried to put a silencer on the shot gun! This is just like that.

However, in this case, instead of worrying about an abuelita finding out, they're trying to keep it from the publicist who handles Bristol Palin's pro-abstinence speaking engagements.

Anyways, Congratulations to Track and Britta.  I sincerely hope everything works out for them.  Now on to the snark.

It looks like Todd and Sarah are not wearing their wedding rings.  Hmmm.  Also note how Rev. and Mrs Hanson are having bodily contact and act like they like each other.  Not so with the groom's parents.  Seven months from now they will have a bigger celebration.  Does that mean the  baby will be born by then?  Also Track looks more like Menard than Todd in this pic, although comments on Immoral Minority beg to differ.

Track Palin gets married. Well this is the Palins, so that can only mean one thing right? Not necessarily. Updated!

From People Magazine:

Sarah Palin's eldest son, Track, 22, recently married his high school sweetheart, Britta Hanson, 21, in a small ceremony in Hatcher Pass, Alaska.

"Our families couldn't be happier!" the Hansons and Palins tell PEOPLE in a joint statement. "These are two hard working, humble, active, studious young adults who grew up together. We're tickled that after two decades of friendship we proudly witnessed their marriage, knowing their new life together will be blessed."

The couple will have a larger wedding celebration this winter at Alaska's Alyeska Ski Resort "when extended family and friends from the Lower 48 can travel north for a long ski weekend," says the statement from Sarah and Todd Palin and the Rev. Duane and Elizabeth Hanson.

Now I actually have NO information about whether or not Britta is following the Palin family tradition, and carrying a little Palin fetus around or not.  They have been together for some time, so perhaps they just felt it was time. (Or maybe they just felt the baby kick, and THEN knew it was time. Beats me!.)

After all it is not actually a RULE in the Palin family that it is pregnancy first, THEN marriage is it? (What am I saying?  The Palin family does not have any "rules," only secrets.)

However one does at least have to wonder WHY they quickly got married at Hatcher's Pass instead of waiting for the big wedding in Alyeska. I mean what could be the rush?  Even if the water breaks, Sarah can quickly teach Britta how to hold that damn kid in for at LEAST 12 to 14 hours, until they can get through the ceremony and then drive from Alyeska to the Mat-Su Regional Hospital. (The staff at Mat-Su are the ONLY people equipped to deliver a Palin baby, don'tcha know?)

P.S. By the way I am a little frustrated that so many of you sent this link to me, as if you were completely shocked by the news.  Don't you read my posts?  Like this one from May 7th:

(By the way Track if you are reading this congratulations on your engagement, and upcoming wedding. I am sure that you and Britta will be very happy together. Yes I know about it, but don't worry I am not going to tell anybody. Oops!)

Apparently I really DID keep it a secret.

Gee I wonder if that will get me an invite to phase two of the nuptials? I have not been to Alyeska in years!

Update: I just got off of the phone with Phil Munger who made an excellent point.

It is easy sometimes for all of us to paint the Palins with a broad brush (Lord knows Sarah and co, have given us plenty of scandalous paint to work with.), however Phil knows the Hanson family personally and says that Britta is a wonderful girl, and that Track is damn lucky to have her.

So instead of assuming that the Palins will corrupt Britta, it might very well be that Britta redeems Track, who by the way has taken the high road and avoided his mother and sister's tendency to pimp themselves out to the media at every opportunity.  Track had a lot of fairly serious difficulties growing up, but this might just be the start of a brand new life for the young man.

It is fun to speculate and take cheap shots at this cartoonish family, but let's give Track and Britta the benefit of the doubt and wish them a happy life together, hopefully as FAR from the Sarah Palin sideshow as humanly possible.

However Track, if I turn on my television and see you as a contestant on Dancing with the Stars, the gloves come off!

Reason #60 not to vote for Sarah Palin for anything

She lied about Track's military service.

MyBloggityblog.com

Update* Thanks to a dilligent reader we now can confirm that Sarah Palin didn’t raise a combat vet. According to Track Palin’s own DD214 he never received a Combat Infantrymans Badge or any badge earned for service in combat. So she effectivly raised a Guardsman who sat in the rear with his gear *End Update*

Sarah Palin yet again ceases to surprise me when it comes to riding on the success of others. This time while at Glen Beck’s “Restoring the Honor” gathering in Washington D.C. she decided to use her son’s bravery to cover over her lack of political experience. Sarah Palin the woman who has never hunted but lied about it, quit her job as Governor, engages in media brawls with Levi Johnston and can’t name political policies has raised a combat vet. Yes ladies and gentleman that is her only accomplishment in life.

While at the rally Palin said “say whatcha want about me but I raised a combat vet and you can’t take that away from me”. She also said “I am not here to speak as a politician but as a mother of a soldier” although I don’t know how she could speak as a politician because she quit that long ago. Her son Track Palin is a member of the Alaska National Guard and deployed with the 25th Infantry Division 1st Stryker Brigade to Iraq in 2008.

What irritates me is that Sarah is acting like she accomplished something monumental by raising a child who decided to join the Guard. Saying “I raised a combat vet” is like saying “I raised a cancer survivor” it has nothing to do with you however you try to take credit for it. I’m not sure how her saying that gets her any standing with the “tea party” who is filled with old conservative soldiers who actually fought for this country. I didn’t think I could be more disgusted with her but yet again I was wrong; who is she to try and gain an edge by riding off her son’s coattails. Is she really that desperate?

So Sarah Palin raised a weekend warrior who deployed to Iraq, a daughter who has unprotected sex and I won’t even touch on the exploitation of her mentally handicapped child. She, in my opinion, abuses the status of being a mother to try and further advance her lackluster political career and it is disgusting to watch. I successfully raised a house cat and taught it to poop in a box but you don’t see me bragging about it. It does go to show you that the Tea Party is full of people who can’t think for themselves and follow the words of the even more ignorant like sheep. This convention that Beck put on was supposedly to “restore Americas honor” but the only way that is possible is if the Tea Party falls on its sword.

You know I really feel sorry for Track,  his mother lying about his military service.  That is not supporting the troops.  No wonder Track stays out of the spotlight.

Track Palin engaged?

Gryphen over at Immoral Minority made a comment that Track and his longtime girlfriend Britta are engaged.  Any truth to that?  You can read it here.

Reason #44 not to vote for Sarah Palin for anything-Update

The Palins pal around with murderers

A U.S. Army soldier who's been charged with murdering three Afghan civilians appears to have crossed paths with the family of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin. On Friday, Spc. Jeremy Morlock, 22, of Wasilla, Alaska, was arrested on charges of premeditated murder related to the deaths of three Afghans near Kandahar, Afghanistan, where he served with the Army's 5th Stryker Brigade.

Morlock is the first of 10 soldiers under investigation for the murders to be charged. The inquiry began after a soldier at Forward Operating Base Ramrod, near Kandahar, went to his superiors with allegations of illegal drug use in his unit last month. The whistleblower was severely beaten by his colleagues; while recovering in a hospital, he came forward with the murder allegations.

Wasilla, as Palin frequently pointed out during the 2008 election campaign, is a very small community, so it's not surprising that the Palin family would have developed relationships, however incidental, with one of its residents. According to a 2009 People magazine profile of Bristol Palin, Jeremy Morlock's sister April is a friend of Bristol's and attended a "pizza and bingo party" at the Palin residence. And in 2005, Jeremy

Morlock played in a high school hockey league with Palin's son Track, who himself served in the Army in Iraq. The two apparently attended different high schools.

A representative for Palin would not state on the record whether or not the Palin camp would comment on any past contact with Morlock. April Morlock did not immediately respond to an email.

During Bristol's time in LA for DWTS, April Morlock Jeremy's sister came to visit her.

In December of 2010 Jeremy became a father. Maybe thats why Bristol looked so pregnant. She was carrying Jeremy's baby.

Also the house that Willow trashed in December 2009 was owned by the Morlocks.

Tsk tsk tsk Sarah.

Jeremy has been sentenced to 24 years in prison.  Too short for me.  He should have been executed.

Reason #35 not to vote for Sarah Palin for anything

She promotes family values yet doesn't follow them herself

The National Enquirer has the details of what the tabloid dubs its "exhaustive" and "extensive" probe of Sarah Palin's extramarital dalliance this week. It was not with that guy who had his divorce papers sealed, but with a city council member in nearby Palmer (pop: smaller than Wasilla) they say! And from the looks of his facial hair, he is a total Toddpelganger.* It went down in the nineties, when David Foster Wallace and Elizabeth Wurtzel were an item, and it involved: snowmobiles, remote cabins, polygraphs, declarations of love, small-town politics and another one of those wackjob ex-brothers-in-law that are such a rich natural resource in Alaska. Full story after the jump! Okay, Brad Hanson. Born in Montana, he grew up in small town Alaska, was a high school jock and is basically the exact same as Todd Palin down to the facial hair but not nearly as totally awesome, which sort of stands to reason why Palin would fall in love with him. A supporter of strip malls and self-professed enemy of "small-town charm" the Palmer football/hockey coach and property developer bonded with Todd over sports and hunting-type activities and ran a snowmobile dealership together until Todd discovered Brad and Sarah had been bonding, according to the Enquirer, over a shared interest in politics.
The Enquirer says Sarah Palin told friends the relationship was never "consummated" but you know how they get around that in Islam.
Here's their evidence:
1. This guy they picture, Jim Burdett. He's the ex-con former brother-in-law of Brad Hanson's wife Carolyn's brother Craig Bratton, and boy is he a piece of work. Served three years in some unspecified clink for some sort of "theft," he filed for bankruptcy in 2001, he supposedly "turned his life around" and now "speaks regularly with family members" — that may change! — and says that everyone always knew Brad had had an affair but that it wasn't until recently that word went down the family pipeline that the affair had been with Sarah Palin, and that if the Enquirer came calling they had better deny that the affair had been with Sarah Palin. Just to make sure, the Enquirer strapped him to a polygraph and he passed with flying colors.
2. When the Enquirer initially called the Hanson household, Carolyn reportedly said: "I would prefer not to talk about it. It's a nonissue." Then she hung up. Then she called back. And then said, "There is absolutely no truth to this story. It is a complete rumor."
3. Than Brad got on the phone and said, hilariously: "Todd and I are still friends. We own a cabin together. I talked to him four times this week. Does that sound like there was a disagreement?" Um, I have had boyfriends I didn't talk to on the phone four times in a week unless something was SERIOUSLY UP so yeah.
Anyway, thoughts:
1. Brad owns a cabin with Todd. Todd also owns a cabin with that other guy with the sealed divorce papers, Scott Richter. The Palins are looking like the Treasury Department with all those ownership stakes in the housing market!
2. Unless it's the same house, in which case, with the affairs and divorces and procreation and prescription pill-popping and Divine Energy Policy Intervention going down, that house is more zeitgeisty than the Real World house circa 1992!
3. I hated the movie American Beauty, so why can I not get it out of my mind with this crew?
4. Sigh, speaking of, as Wonkette pointed out, Peggy Noonan sorta said it best about these scandals back on Friday. Yeah, we will bite on this, of course we will bite, but our teeth are sure getting rotten from the attention deficit drugs..
*What is it with these politicians who cheat on their spouses with people who are like the spitting image of their spouses? Like, they have a "spouse complex." Remember Vicky Iseman?

I admit I admire former presidents John F. Kennedy and Franklin Roosevelt and also voted for Bill Clinton in 1996 (wasn't old enough in 1992), and all three of them had mistresses...however...none of them promoted family values.  Also Sarah was a month preggers with Track when she married Todd, and Track's paternity is in question as well.  Track looks a lot like family friend Curtis Menard Jr and not much like Todd and Sarah.

Track and Curtis Menard Jr.

Track and Linda Menard, Curtis Jr.'s mother
Track and Curtis Menard Sr, Curtis Jr.'s father
Track and Larry Menard, Curtis Sr's brother
